Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Ch 9-12

Chapter 9 - A Place to Hide

  • “When you say you’ve got the Cloak, and clothes . . .” said Harry, frowning at Hermione, who was carrying nothing except her small beaded handbag, in which she was now rummaging. “Yes, they’re here,” said Hermione, and to Harry and Ron’s utter astonishment, she pulled out a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, some maroon socks, and finally the silvery Invisibility Cloak.

Q1 - Is Hermione the greatest or what?

  • Harry threw the Invisibility Cloak around his shoulders and pulled it up over his head, vanishing from sight. He was only just beginning to appreciate what had happened. “The others — everyone at the wedding —”

Q2 - You think everyone is safe?

  • After a minute or two, Ron said, “You know, we’re not far from the Leaky Cauldron here, it’s only in Charing Cross —” “Ron, we can’t!” said Hermione at once. “Not to stay there, but to find out what’s going on!” “We know what’s going on! Voldemort’s taken over the Ministry, what else do we need to know?” “Okay, okay, it was just an idea!” They relapsed into a prickly silence. The gum-chewing waitress shuffled over and Hermione ordered two cappuccinos: As Harry was invisible, it would have looked odd to order him one. A pair of burly workmen entered the café and squeezed into the next booth. Hermione dropped her voice to a whisper.

Q3 - How did the Death Eaters find them?

  • “What are we going to do with them?” Ron whispered to Harry through the dark; then, even more quietly, “Kill them? They’d kill us. They had a good go just now.” Hermione shuddered and took a step backward. Harry shook his head. “We just need to wipe their memories,” said Harry. “It’s better like that, it’ll throw them off the scent. If we killed them it’d be obvious we were here.”

Q4 - What should they do with these people?

  • “It’s no wonder I can’t get it out, Hermione, you packed my old jeans, they’re tight.” “Oh, I’m so sorry,” hissed Hermione, and as she dragged the waitress out of sight of the windows, Harry heard her mutter a suggestion as to where Ron could stick his wand instead.

Q5 - Would you go back to the Burrow for your good pair of jeans?

  • Gingerly Harry took another step forward. Something shifted in the shadows at the end of the hall, and before any of them could say another word, a figure had risen up out of the carpet, tall, dustcolored, and terrible: Hermione screamed and so did Mrs. Black, her curtains flying open; the gray figure was gliding toward them, faster and faster, its waist-length hair and beard streaming behind it, its face sunken, fleshless, with empty eye sockets: Horribly familiar, dreadfully altered, it raised a wasted arm, pointing at Harry. “No!” Harry shouted, and though he had raised his wand no spell occurred to him. “No! It wasn’t us! We didn’t kill you —” On the word kill, the figure exploded in a great cloud of dust: Coughing, his eyes watering, Harry looked around to see Hermione crouched on the floor by the door with her arms over her head, and Ron, who was shaking from head to foot, patting her clumsily on the shoulder and saying, “It’s all r-right. . . . It’s g-gone. . . .”

Q6 - Are these good defenses?

  • “But then you’ve got to close your mind!” said Hermione shrilly. “Harry, Dumbledore didn’t want you to use that connection, he wanted you to shut it down, that’s why you were supposed to use Occlumency! Otherwise Voldemort can plant false images in your mind, remember —”

Q7 - Would Voldemort do this again and would Harry be tricked by it again?

  • He turned his back on Ron and Hermione, pretending to examine the old tapestry of the Black family tree on the wall. Then Hermione shrieked: Harry drew his wand again and spun around to see a silver Patronus soar through the drawing room window and land upon the floor in front of them, where it solidified into the weasel that spoke with the voice of Ron’s father. “Family safe, do not reply, we are being watched.”

Q8 - Can you fake Patronuses?

  • “More, Rowle, or shall we end it and feed you to Nagini? Lord Voldemort is not sure that he will forgive this time. . . . You called me back for this, to tell me that Harry Potter has escaped again? Draco, give Rowle another taste of our displeasure. . . . Do it, or feel my wrath yourself!”

Q9 - Do you feel bad for Draco?

Chapter 10 - Kreacher’s Tale

  • Harry wondered whether they had fallen asleep holding hands. The idea made him feel strangely lonely.
  • The wardrobe doors stood open and the bedclothes had been ripped back. Harry remembered the overturned troll leg downstairs. Somebody had searched the house since the Order had left. Snape? Or perhaps Mundungus, who had pilfered plenty from this house both before and after Sirius died?

Q1 - Has someone been looking through Grimmauld Place?

  • Thank you, thank you, for Harry’s birthday present! It was his favorite by far. One year old and already zooming along on a toy broomstick, he looked so pleased with himself, I’m enclosing a picture so you can see. You know it only rises about two feet off the ground, but he nearly killed the cat and he smashed a horrible vase Petunia sent me for Christmas (no complaints there).

Q2 - Was there something behind Petunia’s gift?

  • Bathilda drops in most days, she’s a fascinating old thing with the most amazing stories about Dumbledore, I’m not sure he’d be pleased if he knew! I don’t know how much to believe, actually, because it seems incredible that Dumbledore…

Q3 - What was this going to say? And why was Dumbledore using the cloak?

  • He read the letter again, but could not take in any more meaning than he had done the first time, and was reduced to staring at the handwriting itself. She had made her “g”s the same way he did: He searched through the letter for every one of them, and each felt like a friendly little wave glimpsed from behind a veil. The letter was an incredible treasure, proof that Lily Potter had lived, really lived, that her warm hand had once moved across this parchment, tracing ink into these letters, these words, words about him, Harry, her son.
  • They had had a cat . . . perhaps it had perished, like his parents, at Godric’s Hollow

Q4 - Is this cat Crookshanks?

  • His parents had known Bathilda Bagshot; had Dumbledore introduced them? Dumbledore’s still got his Invisibility Cloak . . . There was something funny there. . . .
  • “Harry, do you really think you’ll get the truth from a malicious old woman like Muriel, or from Rita Skeeter? How can you believe them? You knew Dumbledore!” “I thought I did,” he muttered. “But you know how much truth there was in everything Rita wrote about you! Doge is right, how can you let these people tarnish your memories of Dumbledore?” He looked away, trying not to betray the resentment he felt. There it was again: Choose what to believe. He wanted the truth. Why was everybody so determined that he should not get it?

Q5 - What is the truth here?

  • This, then, was how Voldemort had tested the defenses surrounding the Horcrux: by borrowing a disposable creature, a house-elf . . . “There was a b-basin full of potion on the island. The D-Dark Lord made Kreacher drink it. . . .” The elf quaked from head to foot. “Kreacher drank, and as he drank, he saw terrible things. . . . Kreacher’s insides burned. . . . Kreacher cried for Master Regulus to save him, he cried for his Mistress Black, but the Dark Lord only laughed. . . . He made Kreacher drink all the potion. . . . He dropped a locket into the empty basin. . . . He filled it with more potion.

Q6 - How much pity do you have for Kreacher?

  • Kreacher knew how to open the concealed entrance to the underground cavern, knew how to raise the tiny boat; this time it was his beloved Regulus who sailed with him to the island with its basin of poison. . . . “And he made you drink the potion?” said Harry, disgusted. But Kreacher shook his head and wept. Hermione’s hands leapt to her mouth: She seemed to have understood something. “M-Master Regulus took from his pocket a locket like the one the Dark Lord had,” said Kreacher, tears pouring down either side of his snoutlike nose. “And he told Kreacher to take it and, when the basin was empty, to switch the lockets. . . .”

Q7 - What do you think of Kreacher’s Tale?

  • “Kreacher, I want you, please, to go and find Mundungus Fletcher. We need to find out where the locket — where Master Regulus’s locket is. It’s really important. We want to finish the work Master Regulus started, we want to — er — ensure that he didn’t die in vain.” Kreacher dropped his fists and looked up at Harry. “Find Mundungus Fletcher?” he croaked. “And bring him here, to Grimmauld Place,” said Harry. “Do you think you could do that for us?” As Kreacher nodded and got to his feet, Harry had a sudden inspiration. He pulled out Hagrid’s purse and took out the fake Horcrux, the substitute locket in which Regulus had placed the note to Voldemort.

Q8 - How will they open the locket?

Chapter 11 - The Bribe

  • “Will you stop it!” she cried on the third evening of Kreacher’s absence, as all light was sucked from the drawing room yet again. “Sorry, sorry!” said Ron, clicking the Deluminator and restoring the lights. “I don’t know I’m doing it!” “Well, can’t you find something useful to occupy yourself?” “What, like reading kids’ stories?” “Dumbledore left me this book, Ron —” “— and he left me the Deluminator, maybe I’m supposed to use it!”

Q1 - Any further theories on why Dumbledore left them these objects?

  • “I had to Apparate very precisely onto the top step outside the front door to be sure that they would not see me. They can’t know you’re in here or I’m sure they’d have more people out there; they’re staking out everywhere that’s got any connection with you, Harry. Let’s go downstairs, there’s a lot to tell you, and I want to know what happened after you left the Burrow.”

Q2 - How does the Fidelius Charm actually work?

  • “So, you came straight here after the wedding?” “No,” said Harry, “only after we ran into a couple of Death Eaters in a café on Tottenham Court Road.” Lupin slopped most of his butterbeer down his front. “What?” They explained what had happened; when they had finished, Lupin looked aghast. “But how did they find you so quickly? It’s impossible to track anyone who Apparates, unless you grab hold of them as they disappear!”

Q3 - How did the Death Eaters find him?

  • “There were about a dozen of them, but they didn’t know you were there, Harry. Arthur heard a rumor that they tried to torture your whereabouts out of Scrimgeour before they killed him; if it’s true, he didn’t give you away.”

Q4 - Does this make you think highly of Scrimgeour?

Q5 - What do you think of the Muggle Born Registration Committee?

  • “I know,” said Lupin. “Nevertheless, unless you can prove that you have at least one close Wizarding relative, you are now deemed to have obtained your magical power illegally and must suffer the punishment.” Ron glanced at Hermione, then said, “What if purebloods and half-bloods swear a Muggle-born’s part of their family? I’ll tell everyone Hermione’s my cousin —”

Q6 - How cute is Ron here?

  •  “I’ll understand if you can’t confirm this, Harry, but the Order is under the impression that Dumbledore left you a mission.” “He did,” Harry replied, “and Ron and Hermione are in on it and they’re coming with me.” “Can you confide in me what the mission is?” Harry looked into the prematurely lined face, framed in thick but graying hair, and wished that he could return a different answer. “I can’t, Remus, I’m sorry. If Dumbledore didn’t tell you I don’t think I can.”

Q7 - Danny during the liveread you said “Don’t do it.” Why?

  • “Remus,” said Hermione tentatively, “is everything all right . . . you know . . . between you and —” “Everything is fine, thank you,” said Lupin pointedly. Hermione turned pink. There was another pause, an awkward and embarrassed one, and then Lupin said, with an air of forcing himself to admit something unpleasant, “Tonks is going to have a baby.” “Oh, how wonderful!” squealed Hermione. “Excellent!” said Ron enthusiastically. “Congratulations,” said Harry.

Q8 - How’d ya guess that Jenn?

  • “You don’t understand,” said Lupin at last. “Explain, then,” said Harry. Lupin swallowed. “I — I made a grave mistake in marrying Tonks. I did it against my better judgment and I have regretted it very much ever since.” “I see,” said Harry, “so you’re just going to dump her and the kid and run off with us?” Lupin sprang to his feet: His chair toppled over backward, and he glared at them so fiercely that Harry saw, for the first time ever, the shadow of the wolf upon his human face. “Don’t you understand what I’ve done to my wife and my unborn child? I should never have married her, I’ve made her an outcast!”

Q9 - Should Lupin have married Tonks?

  • “Remus!” whispered Hermione, tears in her eyes. “Don’t say that — how could any child be ashamed of you?” “Oh, I don’t know, Hermione,” said Harry. “I’d be pretty ashamed of him.” Harry did not know where his rage was coming from, but it had propelled him to his feet too. Lupin looked as though Harry had hit him

Q10 - How did Harry handle this whole situation?

Q11 - What do you think was the truth about Ariana Dumledore?

  • There was the sound of pattering feet, a blaze of shining copper, an echoing clang, and a shriek of agony: Kreacher had taken a run at Mundungus and hit him over the head with a saucepan. “Call ’im off, call ’im off, ’e should be locked up!” screamed Mundungus, cowering as Kreacher raised the heavy-bottomed pan again. “Kreacher, no!” shouted Harry. Kreacher’s thin arms trembled with the weight of the pan, still held aloft. “Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?” Ron laughed. “We need him conscious, Kreacher, but if he needs persuading you can do the honors,” said Harry. “Thank you very much, Master,” said Kreacher with a bow, and he retreated a short distance, his great pale eyes still fixed upon Mundungus with loathing.

Q12 - Isn’t is crazy how you can go from hating a character so quick to loving him?

Chapter 12 - Magic is Might

  • A large picture of a familiar, hook-nosed, black-haired man stared up at them all, beneath a headline that read: SEVERUS SNAPE CONFIRMED AS HOGWARTS HEADMASTER

Q1 - What do you think of this?

  • “Phineas Nigellus,” Hermione explained as she threw the bag onto the kitchen table with the usual sonorous, clanking crash. “Sorry?” said Ron, but Harry understood. The painted image of Phineas Nigellus Black was able to flit between his portrait in Grimmauld Place and the one that hung in the headmaster’s office at Hogwarts: the circular tower-top room where Snape was no doubt sitting right now, in triumphant possession of Dumbledore’s collection of delicate, silver magical instruments, the stone Pensieve, the Sorting Hat and, unless it had been moved elsewhere, the sword of Gryffindor.

Q2 - Do you think Snape had ever spied on them using that before?

Q3 - They are going to storm the ministry? Should they be doing this?

  • The door opened: A laughing woman stood there. Her face fell as she looked into Harry’s face: humor gone, terror replacing it. . . . “Gregorovitch?” said a high, cold voice. She shook her head: She was trying to close the door. A white hand held it steady, prevented her shutting him out. . . . “I want Gregorovitch.”
  • “I hate it, I hate the fact that he can get inside me, that I have to watch him when he’s most dangerous. But I’m going to use it.” “Dumbledore —” “Forget Dumbledore. This is my choice, nobody else’s. I want to know why he’s after Gregorovitch.”

Q4 - Is Harry foolish to try this?

Q5 - How is their plan to get into the ministry?

  • Harry looked more closely and realized that what he had thought were decoratively carved thrones were actually mounds of carved humans: hundreds and hundreds of naked bodies, men, women, and children, all with rather stupid, ugly faces, twisted and pressed together to support the weight of the handsomely robed wizards.
  • The golden grilles slid apart again and Hermione gasped. Four people stood before them, two of them deep in conversation: a longhaired wizard wearing magnificent robes of black and gold, and a squat, toadlike witch wearing a velvet bow in her short hair and clutching a clipboard to her chest.

[00:00:01] You kick it off this one! Welcome to the podcast, I'm Lizzy and I'm Jon and this is Harry Potter and the Second Time Reader. Okay we're doing chapters 9-12. Yay! And they're good chapters. I'm excited to talk about Creature Yourself because that's one of my faves. I love that chapter. But let's start with chapter 9 which is A Place to Hide. I'll give the summaries this time.

[00:00:40] This one is essentially they're just looking for a place to spot and hide and they find 12 Grim Old Place and they kind of regroup in 12 Grim Old Place. Not much else happens outside of that. Am I right? I don't know. Am I right or am I right? Suddenly I don't trust your summaries. Take control back. But the first thing is first and this is one discussion that they have. So the last chapter ends, you know, the minister is dead. They get out of there real quick.

[00:01:08] So they are at 12 Grim Old Place.

[00:01:13] Come here. Do you think

[00:01:15] they talked about 12 Grim Old Place and the safety of 12 Grim Old Place.

[00:01:19] Do you really think that it's a safe spot?

[00:01:23] I don't think it's any safer than the other 12 places

[00:01:26] they protected at this point. Okay.

[00:01:30] Like all the decoy houses.

[00:01:34] Come on Wes.

[00:01:35] So close. He was like thinking about it.

[00:01:38] Because Snape is like able to get in and

[00:01:41] they're kind of just like awaiting his arrival

[00:01:43] I feel like.

[00:01:44] Actually another

[00:01:46] maybe more interesting question.

[00:01:49] They go to this cafe

[00:01:51] and they got

[00:01:52] found out at this cafe by Death Eaters.

[00:01:56] How did they get found?

[00:01:58] I don't know because they

[00:02:01] like Lupin told them

[00:02:02] it wasn't the trace. Yeah.

[00:02:04] Yeah. Can't be the trace.

[00:02:06] Yeah. But that was so fast.

[00:02:08] Like it was they were

[00:02:09] on them immediately.

[00:02:11] I was so

[00:02:12] I was freaking out when that was happening.

[00:02:14] I was like they're attacking each other.

[00:02:16] Ah.

[00:02:17] Then the illuminator came in.

[00:02:20] But

[00:02:22] maybe one of the paintings

[00:02:24] in the building said something

[00:02:26] because

[00:02:28] or no

[00:02:28] they came from the borough right?

[00:02:30] Yeah they couldn't have.

[00:02:31] Yeah.

[00:02:31] So there's no

[00:02:32] I don't even

[00:02:34] maybe Voldemort's watching

[00:02:35] from inside Harry's mind.

[00:02:39] I feel like I don't have any options

[00:02:41] or things that it could be.

[00:02:43] It's a good possibility.

[00:02:45] Unless if like some object

[00:02:47] that's like on them

[00:02:48] has been

[00:02:51] jinxed

[00:02:52] or like traced

[00:02:53] and then it just follows them.

[00:02:54] Or maybe the wand

[00:02:55] because the wand

[00:02:56] has like a magic

[00:02:58] GPS in it.

[00:02:59] But the wand

[00:03:00] kind of is the trace.

[00:03:02] So like if you're doing magic

[00:03:04] it's kind of traced

[00:03:05] by the wand.

[00:03:05] A little bit.

[00:03:06] The trace is a little strange.

[00:03:10] I like that

[00:03:11] he possibly goes

[00:03:12] into his mind there

[00:03:13] and Voldemort's like

[00:03:14] I've been to that cafe before.

[00:03:15] He's here.

[00:03:16] Go get him.

[00:03:17] No but he's never been there.

[00:03:19] Like there's no chance of that.

[00:03:20] And why

[00:03:20] yeah like the Death Eaters

[00:03:22] it's not just like a chance meeting

[00:03:24] because they're in a muggle town.

[00:03:26] Right?

[00:03:27] Mm-hmm.

[00:03:28] Yeah so I don't know.

[00:03:31] It's crazy.

[00:03:32] It's a little creepy.

[00:03:34] It is very creepy.

[00:03:36] So they do

[00:03:36] yeah

[00:03:36] after

[00:03:37] after they get found

[00:03:38] they get in a little fight

[00:03:39] and they obviously win the fight

[00:03:41] but

[00:03:41] the question is

[00:03:43] there's like a debate

[00:03:44] that the group has

[00:03:45] and there's this line

[00:03:47] what are we going to do with them?

[00:03:48] Ron whispered to Harry

[00:03:49] through the dark

[00:03:50] and even more quietly

[00:03:51] kill them?

[00:03:52] They'd kill us.

[00:03:54] They had a good

[00:03:55] go just now.

[00:03:57] Hermione shuddered

[00:03:58] and took a step backwards.

[00:03:59] Harry shook his head.

[00:04:00] We just need to wipe their memories

[00:04:01] said Harry.

[00:04:02] It's better like that.

[00:04:03] It'll throw them off the scent.

[00:04:05] If we kill them

[00:04:05] it'd be obvious we were here.

[00:04:08] What should they really do

[00:04:09] with these people?

[00:04:10] And what do you think about them

[00:04:11] Ron even proposing

[00:04:12] the idea that they killed them?

[00:04:14] I think that's

[00:04:14] totally understandable.

[00:04:18] Whoa.

[00:04:18] I remember I was listening to one podcast

[00:04:20] I think in Order of the Phoenix

[00:04:21] and you were like

[00:04:22] I think if you kill someone

[00:04:23] you should die.

[00:04:24] Oh dang.

[00:04:26] Yeah no

[00:04:27] there's really

[00:04:28] I'm very back and forth.

[00:04:31] I'm saying the idea

[00:04:33] of killing the Death Eater

[00:04:35] is on the table.

[00:04:37] That makes sense.

[00:04:37] It's a war.

[00:04:39] However

[00:04:42] the point that

[00:04:44] okay you leave

[00:04:45] two dead Death Eaters

[00:04:46] in here

[00:04:46] it's like that's obviously

[00:04:47] going to create

[00:04:48] a bigger

[00:04:49] trail for everyone

[00:04:51] to follow.

[00:04:51] so I think they did

[00:04:52] the right thing

[00:04:53] by obliviating them.

[00:04:54] Yeah for sure.

[00:04:55] And I think it's a good

[00:04:56] like trial run

[00:04:57] for them to now

[00:04:58] have that skill

[00:04:59] or at least Hermione does.

[00:05:01] I know.

[00:05:02] But yeah

[00:05:02] I'm like in the book

[00:05:03] kill whoever you want

[00:05:04] in real life

[00:05:05] don't kill anybody.

[00:05:08] Yeah and Hermione

[00:05:09] to a scary degree

[00:05:10] is becoming like

[00:05:11] a good obliviator.

[00:05:12] She did her parents

[00:05:13] Yeah that's true.

[00:05:14] Pretty well

[00:05:14] and she's doing this guy

[00:05:15] right now

[00:05:16] both of these guys.

[00:05:18] I don't know if that's a skill

[00:05:19] that I would want to have

[00:05:19] it's a little freaky.

[00:05:23] I guess so.

[00:05:24] Although

[00:05:25] there's another line

[00:05:26] that we have

[00:05:27] where after they're

[00:05:28] like done with this

[00:05:29] Ron says

[00:05:30] it's no wonder

[00:05:31] I can't get it out.

[00:05:32] Hermione

[00:05:32] you packed my old jeans

[00:05:33] they're tight.

[00:05:35] Oh I'm so sorry

[00:05:36] hissed Hermione

[00:05:37] as she dragged

[00:05:37] the waitress out of sight

[00:05:38] of the windows.

[00:05:40] Here you heard her

[00:05:41] mutter a suggestion

[00:05:41] as to where Ron

[00:05:42] could stick his wand instead.

[00:05:43] Yeah.

[00:05:45] So funny.

[00:05:46] I love Ron

[00:05:47] and Hermione right now

[00:05:48] like them being together

[00:05:50] is so good.

[00:05:51] We're like an old

[00:05:51] little married couple

[00:05:52] like fighting

[00:05:53] and complaining

[00:05:53] about the smallest

[00:05:54] little stuff.

[00:05:55] Yeah.

[00:05:56] But who's

[00:05:56] this might sound

[00:05:58] like a ridiculous

[00:05:58] question right now.

[00:06:00] Whose side are you

[00:06:01] on in this debate?

[00:06:03] So

[00:06:03] of what?

[00:06:04] Ron

[00:06:05] has his wrong

[00:06:06] jeans packed.

[00:06:08] Would you go back

[00:06:09] to the burrow

[00:06:10] to get the right

[00:06:11] pair of jeans?

[00:06:13] Isn't like

[00:06:14] everyone at the

[00:06:15] burrow right now

[00:06:16] like there's a

[00:06:17] battle happening?

[00:06:19] Maybe.

[00:06:20] Maybe a little bit.

[00:06:21] Maybe you could

[00:06:21] sneak in with the

[00:06:22] invisibility cloak

[00:06:23] get your good

[00:06:23] pair of jeans

[00:06:24] and be back

[00:06:25] in a jiff.

[00:06:25] I would not even

[00:06:26] pick jeans in the

[00:06:27] first place.

[00:06:28] That's not really

[00:06:29] the comfiest option.

[00:06:31] But no.

[00:06:32] Suck it up.

[00:06:33] Lose some weight.

[00:06:35] Yeah.

[00:06:35] That's a good

[00:06:36] infidence for Ron

[00:06:36] to lose a little weight.

[00:06:37] They're not going to be

[00:06:38] eating well on this

[00:06:39] journey I would

[00:06:40] imagine anyway.

[00:06:41] Yeah.

[00:06:43] So.

[00:06:43] That's actually

[00:06:43] interesting.

[00:06:43] He'll be down a few

[00:06:44] pounds next week.

[00:06:45] It'll be fine.

[00:06:47] I wonder if there's

[00:06:48] any lines like later

[00:06:48] on in the series

[00:06:49] it's like Ron's jeans

[00:06:50] are a little baggier

[00:06:51] or like something

[00:06:53] like that.

[00:06:54] You would know.

[00:06:56] I know.

[00:06:56] I gotta figure

[00:06:56] find that out.

[00:07:00] Okay.

[00:07:00] So they get to

[00:07:01] the whatchamacallit

[00:07:05] 12 Grimall place

[00:07:05] and they have a bunch

[00:07:06] of defenses set up.

[00:07:07] What do you think

[00:07:08] about all these

[00:07:08] defenses?

[00:07:09] What do you think

[00:07:09] about like them even

[00:07:10] going there in the

[00:07:11] first place?

[00:07:11] I thought that dead

[00:07:12] person thing was

[00:07:14] serious.

[00:07:15] And then I was like

[00:07:17] whoa what in the

[00:07:18] world like he's

[00:07:19] defending his house

[00:07:20] and then they said

[00:07:23] something about it

[00:07:24] being Dumbledore

[00:07:25] and it's like I

[00:07:27] like killed you

[00:07:28] like I killed

[00:07:28] Dumbledore or

[00:07:29] something like that

[00:07:29] and I was like oh

[00:07:30] it's supposed to be

[00:07:30] Dumbledore but

[00:07:33] that is so weird to

[00:07:34] me and then all of

[00:07:36] that's Mad Eyes

[00:07:37] or it seems like

[00:07:39] that's Mad Eyes

[00:07:39] magic so it's like

[00:07:41] staying.

[00:07:41] Yeah which is

[00:07:42] that was the one

[00:07:43] I was thinking of

[00:07:44] yeah because you

[00:07:44] asked that last

[00:07:45] podcast about like

[00:07:46] can your magic stay

[00:07:47] or can it not

[00:07:48] and I was thinking

[00:07:49] specifically of this

[00:07:50] one where it seems

[00:07:51] to be his magic

[00:07:52] and it's sticking

[00:07:53] around after he

[00:07:54] dies.

[00:07:55] I don't know did he

[00:07:55] like enchant the

[00:07:56] dust?

[00:07:56] I don't know what that

[00:07:59] magic is.

[00:08:00] Because part of it just

[00:08:02] feels like a normal

[00:08:03] like booby trap or

[00:08:04] like it's a trip wire

[00:08:05] and then like the

[00:08:06] thing comes up.

[00:08:07] Yeah.

[00:08:07] But I guess it is

[00:08:08] all magic.

[00:08:09] Yeah.

[00:08:11] I don't know like I like

[00:08:13] that they're there I

[00:08:14] think that's really

[00:08:14] cool and I like how

[00:08:16] jumpy they all are in

[00:08:17] the beginning like they

[00:08:18] don't trust it and then

[00:08:19] by the end of it it's

[00:08:19] like completely clean and

[00:08:22] they're like operating and

[00:08:24] disapparating like it's

[00:08:25] nothing.

[00:08:26] I really like that.

[00:08:29] I think it's cool but

[00:08:31] yeah I mean it feels like

[00:08:32] safe enough right now

[00:08:33] because there's death

[00:08:34] eaters outside and

[00:08:34] they're not coming in but

[00:08:35] I mean they're definitely

[00:08:36] nervous of Snape or

[00:08:38] anybody else who can

[00:08:38] possibly come in and

[00:08:40] like infiltrate but they

[00:08:41] definitely do seem a

[00:08:42] little safe at least

[00:08:42] safe for now.

[00:08:46] And they don't I think

[00:08:47] as soon as they know for

[00:08:48] sure that they're in that

[00:08:50] house then they're

[00:08:51] unsafe but I think

[00:08:53] they're just on like

[00:08:53] general monitoring of

[00:08:55] all of these places

[00:08:56] right now.

[00:08:57] Yeah.

[00:09:01] Yeah.

[00:09:01] I mean this chapter is

[00:09:03] like very much a

[00:09:04] transitional chapter.

[00:09:04] They don't have a ton of

[00:09:05] dialogue but a bunch of

[00:09:06] weird stuff happens in

[00:09:07] this and like you're a

[00:09:08] little unsettled because

[00:09:09] they just kind of had this

[00:09:09] little they fled the

[00:09:12] scene of this little

[00:09:13] potential fight that was

[00:09:14] popping up and they you

[00:09:15] know go to all these

[00:09:16] places that they're not

[00:09:17] sure of.

[00:09:18] But then at the end of

[00:09:19] this chapter they finally

[00:09:20] find out this family

[00:09:21] safe.

[00:09:22] They say do not reply we

[00:09:23] are being washed and it's

[00:09:23] like thrown with a

[00:09:24] with a silver patronus in

[00:09:26] the air.

[00:09:29] Where it solidified into

[00:09:30] the weasel that spoke the

[00:09:31] voice of Ron's father.

[00:09:32] I love that Mr.

[00:09:34] Weasley's patronus is a

[00:09:35] weasel.

[00:09:35] It's so great to me.

[00:09:38] But yeah nothing really

[00:09:40] else happens in this.

[00:09:44] Yeah.

[00:09:45] Do you have anything else

[00:09:46] that I really want to talk

[00:09:47] about the next chapter.

[00:09:48] The next chapter is the

[00:09:48] most interesting one to me.

[00:09:50] I'd like there's some good

[00:09:51] lines in this chapter.

[00:09:52] I like this line.

[00:09:53] The only thing that was

[00:09:54] out of place was the

[00:09:55] troll's leg umbrella stand

[00:09:56] which was lying on its

[00:09:57] side as if Tonks had

[00:09:58] knocked it over again.

[00:10:03] Little tidbits of Tonks.

[00:10:04] I love that.

[00:10:08] Anyway.

[00:10:09] Yeah there's there's

[00:10:10] there's some good lines

[00:10:11] in here.

[00:10:13] Okay.

[00:10:14] Chapter 10.

[00:10:15] Creature's Tale.

[00:10:16] This is one of the most

[00:10:17] fascinating chapters to me.

[00:10:20] But this is essentially just

[00:10:21] Creature kind of giving the

[00:10:22] download information of what

[00:10:24] he did in the cave.

[00:10:28] And he finds the letter.

[00:10:30] Yeah.

[00:10:31] The letter and then he cried.

[00:10:33] The letter is brutal.

[00:10:34] Oh so I was like not prepared

[00:10:36] for that.

[00:10:37] Yeah.

[00:10:37] And then the whole thing about

[00:10:38] the G's being the same and the

[00:10:40] handwriting.

[00:10:41] Yeah.

[00:10:42] Oh my heart.

[00:10:43] When I was rereading this a few

[00:10:44] like weeks ago this was a

[00:10:47] chapter that that I didn't

[00:10:50] really remember.

[00:10:50] I mean I always liked this

[00:10:52] chapter.

[00:10:52] I remembered it was definitely

[00:10:53] like my top five.

[00:10:54] I don't know.

[00:10:55] But I remember reading it and

[00:10:57] like Harry's realization of

[00:10:59] the letter and like the how

[00:11:00] he made the same like tease or

[00:11:02] something like that is.

[00:11:03] Cheese.

[00:11:04] Yeah.

[00:11:05] Like it's the smallest little

[00:11:06] stuff that she's good at

[00:11:08] putting in her writing and it

[00:11:10] just made me well up.

[00:11:11] It's a great little section

[00:11:12] of writing here.

[00:11:13] She had made her G's the same

[00:11:15] way he did.

[00:11:16] He searched through the letter

[00:11:16] for every one of them and each

[00:11:18] felt like a friendly little

[00:11:19] wave glimpsing from behind a

[00:11:21] veil.

[00:11:21] Yeah.

[00:11:24] It's so good.

[00:11:25] This is so good.

[00:11:27] But the content of the letter I

[00:11:29] want to talk about the content

[00:11:30] of the letter real quick.

[00:11:31] It says this.

[00:11:33] Thank you.

[00:11:34] Thank you for Harry's

[00:11:35] birthday present.

[00:11:36] It was his favorite by far.

[00:11:37] One year old and already zooming

[00:11:39] along on a toy broomstick.

[00:11:41] He looks so pleased with himself.

[00:11:42] I'm closing a picture so you

[00:11:44] can see.

[00:11:45] You know,

[00:11:45] only rises two feet off the

[00:11:47] ground, but he nearly killed

[00:11:48] the cat and he smashed the

[00:11:50] horrible vase Petunia had sent

[00:11:51] me for Christmas.

[00:11:53] No complaints there.

[00:11:57] Is Petunia putting like why is

[00:11:59] Petunia giving a vase to her

[00:12:01] sister?

[00:12:02] Is there something behind that?

[00:12:04] I don't know.

[00:12:05] Now I feel like I should be

[00:12:06] thinking about that.

[00:12:07] Hmm.

[00:12:08] What is the vase?

[00:12:10] I don't remember any other

[00:12:12] vases in this story, but also

[00:12:15] I would never pay attention to

[00:12:17] that.

[00:12:18] I feel like I'm surprised that

[00:12:20] she gave her a gift anyway.

[00:12:21] I guess it's before Harry dies

[00:12:23] and the whole thing goes down,

[00:12:24] but a vase.

[00:12:28] I don't know.

[00:12:29] Is this important?

[00:12:30] It's vitally important.

[00:12:32] Hmm.

[00:12:33] Maybe we'll see.

[00:12:34] This is like the urn that she

[00:12:36] uses for her ashes.

[00:12:39] Oh my gosh.

[00:12:41] That's so bleak.

[00:12:44] It's not.

[00:12:45] It gets smashed anyways.

[00:12:48] After that, she says,

[00:12:50] Bathilda drops in most days.

[00:12:52] She's a fascinating old thing

[00:12:53] with the most amazing stories

[00:12:54] about Dumbledore.

[00:12:55] I'm not sure if he'd be pleased

[00:12:56] if he knew.

[00:12:57] I don't know how much I believe

[00:12:58] actually because it seems

[00:13:00] incredible that Dumbledore

[00:13:01] dot dot dot.

[00:13:04] What was this going to say?

[00:13:07] And why does Dumbledore have

[00:13:08] the invisibility cloak?

[00:13:10] I don't know.

[00:13:13] First of all, I'm surprised

[00:13:15] that like she was alive at

[00:13:16] the same time.

[00:13:17] I think I thought she was

[00:13:18] like way older.

[00:13:19] Like she was part of history.

[00:13:21] Bathilda.

[00:13:22] Oh, Bathilda Batcha.

[00:13:23] I thought you were

[00:13:23] talking about Lily.

[00:13:24] No, no Lily.

[00:13:26] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:13:27] Because she just seemed like,

[00:13:29] oh, she's a historian.

[00:13:30] Yeah.

[00:13:31] She's old.

[00:13:32] But.

[00:13:35] Maybe.

[00:13:36] I was thinking that James

[00:13:38] is trying to like sneak out

[00:13:40] and do stuff for the order,

[00:13:42] kind of like how Sirius did later.

[00:13:44] And then Dumbledore like took

[00:13:46] his cloaks that he couldn't do that.

[00:13:49] Hmm.

[00:13:49] OK.

[00:13:52] That was all.

[00:13:52] That was.

[00:13:55] Because she says something.

[00:14:00] We were so sorry you couldn't come,

[00:14:01] but the order's got to come first

[00:14:02] and Harry's not old enough

[00:14:03] to know it's his birthday anyway.

[00:14:04] So like they're prioritizing

[00:14:06] the order.

[00:14:06] Yeah.

[00:14:07] Over family.

[00:14:08] Lupin does that later

[00:14:09] when he's like,

[00:14:10] oh, leave Tongs

[00:14:11] and the baby.

[00:14:13] Wild.

[00:14:13] Yeah.

[00:14:13] So I'm like everyone

[00:14:14] is prioritizing the order

[00:14:16] that happened like

[00:14:16] in the other book too.

[00:14:18] I don't remember which one.

[00:14:20] Maybe I guess

[00:14:21] the Order of the Phoenix.

[00:14:22] Mm hmm.

[00:14:23] Um, where people are like,

[00:14:25] it just if you're in the order,

[00:14:26] the order's first.

[00:14:28] But I'm assuming James

[00:14:29] was trying to like

[00:14:31] sneak out and do stuff.

[00:14:32] But I don't know why

[00:14:33] he should be like hiding

[00:14:34] in the first place.

[00:14:36] Yeah.

[00:14:38] Maybe he like did a mission

[00:14:41] and then he like kind of got caught

[00:14:43] and he had to go into hiding

[00:14:44] to like protect himself

[00:14:45] for a small period of time.

[00:14:48] Wait, Dumbledore had to do this?

[00:14:49] No.

[00:14:49] Or James?

[00:14:50] James.

[00:14:51] OK.

[00:14:51] And then it was like safer that way

[00:14:53] that he's like hiding.

[00:14:54] So wait,

[00:14:55] you don't know why James

[00:14:56] and Lily are hiding right now?

[00:14:58] No.

[00:14:59] Am I supposed to?

[00:15:00] They're hiding

[00:15:01] because Voldemort's after them.

[00:15:02] So that's like the prophecy.

[00:15:04] But why is he after them?

[00:15:05] Because it's just

[00:15:05] what the prophecy said.

[00:15:07] So it's maybe a little blue.

[00:15:08] How would he know

[00:15:09] that he's the chosen one?

[00:15:12] Because they've located

[00:15:14] the prophecy.

[00:15:15] It could be talking

[00:15:16] about two people.

[00:15:17] But how do you know

[00:15:18] it's like the parents?

[00:15:20] I still don't understand

[00:15:22] the prophecy.

[00:15:24] This is probably why

[00:15:25] I forgot Harry Potter's

[00:15:27] because like fundamentally

[00:15:30] the base of the plot

[00:15:31] is still messed up.

[00:15:32] The one.

[00:15:32] OK, so this is it.

[00:15:33] The one with the power

[00:15:34] to vanquish the dark lord

[00:15:35] approaches.

[00:15:36] Born to those

[00:15:37] who have thrice defied him.

[00:15:39] OK, so they did something

[00:15:40] three times.

[00:15:41] Three times.

[00:15:42] Born as the seventh month dies.

[00:15:45] So the you have to be born

[00:15:47] at the end of July.

[00:15:49] There's only two people

[00:15:50] who have thrice defied him.

[00:15:52] And there's only

[00:15:53] or two families

[00:15:54] and there's only two families.

[00:15:55] So how did they thrice defy him?

[00:15:58] I don't know.

[00:15:58] Like little battles

[00:15:59] or something like that.

[00:16:00] Like you've like fought

[00:16:01] against his death eaters

[00:16:02] three times or something like that.

[00:16:04] Or it's a it's an interesting

[00:16:05] question of what it means

[00:16:06] to thrice defy him.

[00:16:08] OK, so that's kind of

[00:16:09] what I was saying.

[00:16:09] Like they did something

[00:16:10] against him.

[00:16:11] Yeah, that could be like

[00:16:12] the defying him.

[00:16:13] Agreed.

[00:16:13] And then they go into hiding.

[00:16:15] But then the entire prophecy

[00:16:17] takes over and it's like

[00:16:18] right now we have to kill Harry.

[00:16:21] Yeah, for sure.

[00:16:23] OK, they're definitely.

[00:16:24] Yeah, honestly,

[00:16:31] I am.

[00:16:35] I don't know why,

[00:16:36] but I'm having

[00:16:37] a slight brain fart

[00:16:38] because I I don't know

[00:16:43] if Harry's parents

[00:16:44] are actually hiding

[00:16:45] because of the prophecy

[00:16:46] because I don't know

[00:16:46] if they actually knew

[00:16:47] the prophecy or not.

[00:16:48] That's what I was thinking.

[00:16:51] Because that would be

[00:16:52] like a thing on Voldemort's end.

[00:16:55] It wouldn't be like,

[00:16:56] oh, you know,

[00:16:57] the prophecy.

[00:16:58] There's three times.

[00:16:59] Go hide.

[00:17:04] Maybe Dumbledore

[00:17:05] like forced them

[00:17:06] into hiding

[00:17:06] and then took the cloak

[00:17:07] because Dumbledore

[00:17:08] was like, oh, no.

[00:17:09] Now the prophecy

[00:17:10] is going to come true.

[00:17:12] Take the cloak

[00:17:13] go into hiding.

[00:17:14] Yeah, it might be

[00:17:15] that because

[00:17:17] they are cooped up

[00:17:18] and James is going

[00:17:19] a little stir crazy

[00:17:20] because he can't really

[00:17:21] go on missions

[00:17:21] or do anything

[00:17:22] or go outside that much.

[00:17:23] They were oars.

[00:17:27] No.

[00:17:29] They were young

[00:17:30] and they were had

[00:17:30] they had just graduated

[00:17:31] and they were.

[00:17:33] They almost

[00:17:34] as soon as they had Harry,

[00:17:35] they like went into hiding

[00:17:41] and Googling all this.

[00:17:43] You know,

[00:17:48] the Dark Lord

[00:17:49] tagged them

[00:17:50] as his next victims.

[00:17:52] This is why

[00:17:52] I keep saying

[00:17:53] I need a visual

[00:17:55] timeline.

[00:17:56] I know.

[00:18:00] I guess

[00:18:01] because Voldemort

[00:18:01] did mark

[00:18:02] mark them

[00:18:03] as his next victim

[00:18:05] so they go into hiding

[00:18:06] then.

[00:18:06] But I don't know

[00:18:07] if they know everything

[00:18:08] about the prophecy

[00:18:08] to be honest.

[00:18:09] So they're just hiding

[00:18:10] because they're

[00:18:11] on the hit list.

[00:18:12] Yeah.

[00:18:13] Not because

[00:18:14] he's going to kill

[00:18:15] Harry Potter.

[00:18:15] Yeah.

[00:18:17] Probably something

[00:18:18] similar to that.

[00:18:20] I don't know

[00:18:20] how he marked

[00:18:21] him as his equal

[00:18:22] or he marked

[00:18:23] him as like

[00:18:23] his target too.

[00:18:25] Like wanted posters

[00:18:27] or something like that.

[00:18:28] Are you actually

[00:18:28] not sure?

[00:18:29] Yeah.

[00:18:30] I'm legitimately

[00:18:31] unsure of that.

[00:18:32] I don't know

[00:18:32] when to.

[00:18:33] Because this is throwing

[00:18:34] me for a loop now.

[00:18:35] I've always thought

[00:18:35] like they were

[00:18:36] they knew

[00:18:37] some of the prophecy

[00:18:38] so they were hiding

[00:18:38] because of that

[00:18:39] but I'm not positive now.

[00:18:41] What if Snape

[00:18:42] told them the prophecy?

[00:18:45] Because Snape knew

[00:18:45] the first part

[00:18:46] of the prophecy.

[00:18:47] Yeah.

[00:18:47] Snape was the one

[00:18:47] that overheard it.

[00:18:48] Yeah.

[00:18:49] And then he could

[00:18:49] go back to them

[00:18:50] and be like

[00:18:51] hey you guys

[00:18:53] thrice defied him

[00:18:56] just so you know

[00:18:57] there's a prophecy.

[00:18:59] That's very wishful

[00:19:00] thinking.

[00:19:00] But wouldn't Snape

[00:19:01] was Snape in the order

[00:19:02] at that point still?

[00:19:04] Like.

[00:19:04] No.

[00:19:05] Oh.

[00:19:06] He was like fully

[00:19:07] on Voldemort's side.

[00:19:07] Oh yeah.

[00:19:08] He only came back

[00:19:09] after.

[00:19:10] That's right.

[00:19:11] Okay.

[00:19:13] You thoroughly

[00:19:14] confuse me right now.

[00:19:16] I've thoroughly

[00:19:17] confused you.

[00:19:17] Yeah.

[00:19:18] I've probably

[00:19:18] thoroughly confused you.

[00:19:19] I'm confused.

[00:19:20] Yeah.

[00:19:20] Well.

[00:19:22] I'll think over that.

[00:19:23] Maybe I'll have

[00:19:24] some more concrete

[00:19:24] answers for you later.

[00:19:26] Add a little blip

[00:19:27] in there when you edit it.

[00:19:28] I know.

[00:19:28] Agreed.

[00:19:29] Yeah.

[00:19:30] But yeah.

[00:19:31] That line that you

[00:19:31] read before.

[00:19:32] He said he read

[00:19:33] the letter again

[00:19:33] but cannot take

[00:19:34] into any more meaning

[00:19:35] than I had done

[00:19:35] the first time

[00:19:36] and was reduced

[00:19:37] to staring at

[00:19:38] the handwriting itself.

[00:19:39] She made her G's

[00:19:40] the same way he did.

[00:19:41] He searched

[00:19:41] through the letter

[00:19:42] for every one of them

[00:19:43] and each felt

[00:19:43] like a friendly

[00:19:44] little wave

[00:19:45] glimpsed from behind

[00:19:46] a veil.

[00:19:47] The letter was

[00:19:47] an incredible treasure

[00:19:48] proof that Lily Potter

[00:19:49] had lived

[00:19:50] really lived

[00:19:50] that her warm hand

[00:19:52] had once moved

[00:19:52] across the parchment

[00:19:53] tracing ink

[00:19:54] into these letters

[00:19:54] these words

[00:19:56] words about him

[00:19:57] Harry

[00:19:57] her son.

[00:20:00] It's so good.

[00:20:01] It's such good writing.

[00:20:02] I love how that sentence

[00:20:03] gets more and more

[00:20:04] personal.

[00:20:05] Yeah.

[00:20:05] It's like words

[00:20:06] words about him

[00:20:07] Harry

[00:20:07] her son.

[00:20:09] It's so crushing.

[00:20:10] It's so good.

[00:20:12] Such good writing.

[00:20:15] Okay.

[00:20:16] This is

[00:20:17] this is when we

[00:20:18] kind of transition

[00:20:18] into a little bit

[00:20:20] of Creature's tale.

[00:20:22] so they're like

[00:20:22] hanging out in the house

[00:20:24] they find Creature

[00:20:26] and they kind of

[00:20:27] order Creature to tell

[00:20:27] him like what

[00:20:28] happened with

[00:20:30] do you remember

[00:20:31] with what like

[00:20:32] what was the

[00:20:32] impetus behind that?

[00:20:34] Figuring out who

[00:20:35] R.A.B. was.

[00:20:37] Okay.

[00:20:38] And then like the

[00:20:41] yeah like the

[00:20:42] locket.

[00:20:42] Yeah.

[00:20:43] That he stole

[00:20:44] and that might be

[00:20:45] in the closet.

[00:20:46] Yes.

[00:20:46] And it wasn't in the

[00:20:47] closet so then they

[00:20:48] start talking to him.

[00:20:49] Yeah.

[00:20:49] So they're hoping

[00:20:50] to find this locket

[00:20:51] and then this is

[00:20:53] kind of like why

[00:20:53] they start talking

[00:20:54] to Creature.

[00:20:56] This is the one

[00:20:57] of the lines that

[00:20:58] Creature talks about

[00:20:59] and he says

[00:21:00] this then was how

[00:21:02] Voldemort had tested

[00:21:03] the defenses

[00:21:04] surrounding the

[00:21:04] horcrux.

[00:21:05] By borrowing a

[00:21:06] disposable creature

[00:21:07] at Housel

[00:21:08] there was a basin

[00:21:09] or he says

[00:21:10] there was a basin

[00:21:12] full of potion

[00:21:13] on the island.

[00:21:13] The Dark Lord

[00:21:14] made Creature drink it.

[00:21:15] Yelp quaked

[00:21:16] from head to foot.

[00:21:17] Creature drank.

[00:21:18] As he drank

[00:21:19] he saw terrible

[00:21:19] things.

[00:21:20] Creature's insides

[00:21:21] burned.

[00:21:21] Creature cried

[00:21:22] for Master

[00:21:22] Regulus to save

[00:21:23] him.

[00:21:23] He cried for

[00:21:24] his mistress

[00:21:24] Black but the

[00:21:25] Dark Lord only

[00:21:26] laughed.

[00:21:26] He made Creature

[00:21:27] drink all the

[00:21:28] potion.

[00:21:28] He dropped

[00:21:29] the locket

[00:21:29] inside the

[00:21:30] empty basin

[00:21:30] filled it with

[00:21:31] more potion.

[00:21:34] Does this

[00:21:34] I mean this

[00:21:35] story probably

[00:21:35] changes your

[00:21:36] mind on Creature

[00:21:37] but how much

[00:21:38] sympathy and pity

[00:21:39] do you have for

[00:21:39] Creature now?

[00:21:40] A lot.

[00:21:41] Right?

[00:21:41] Yeah.

[00:21:41] I really like

[00:21:42] Creature now.

[00:21:43] I know.

[00:21:45] He's great.

[00:21:46] That is crazy

[00:21:47] that he did

[00:21:49] that and like

[00:21:50] he survived

[00:21:51] and I feel

[00:21:52] like you were

[00:21:52] trying to like

[00:21:53] get me to that

[00:21:53] point when we

[00:21:54] were in that

[00:21:56] section of the

[00:21:56] book because

[00:21:57] you're like a

[00:21:57] child something

[00:21:59] small different

[00:22:01] magic and then I

[00:22:02] read that I was

[00:22:03] like ah I

[00:22:04] should have got

[00:22:05] that.

[00:22:06] Yeah.

[00:22:07] But oh

[00:22:08] well.

[00:22:10] It's yeah it

[00:22:11] was Voldemort's

[00:22:16] he thinks he's

[00:22:17] brilliant when he's

[00:22:18] doing this.

[00:22:18] he lacks a

[00:22:19] little bit of

[00:22:20] a little bit

[00:22:21] of sense but

[00:22:22] but yeah this

[00:22:23] makes you have a

[00:22:24] lot of sympathy

[00:22:24] for Creature.

[00:22:25] A lot of pity

[00:22:26] for Creature.

[00:22:27] He has another

[00:22:28] line which is

[00:22:30] tough even

[00:22:30] tougher.

[00:22:31] Creature knew

[00:22:32] how to open the

[00:22:33] concealed entrance

[00:22:34] to the underground

[00:22:35] cavern knew how

[00:22:36] to raise the tiny

[00:22:36] boats.

[00:22:37] This time it

[00:22:38] was his beloved

[00:22:38] Regulus who

[00:22:39] sailed with him

[00:22:40] to the island

[00:22:40] with its basin

[00:22:41] of poison

[00:22:43] and he made

[00:22:44] you drink the

[00:22:44] potion said

[00:22:45] Harry disgusted

[00:22:47] but Creature

[00:22:48] shook his head

[00:22:48] and wept.

[00:22:50] Hermione's hand

[00:22:50] leapt to her

[00:22:51] mouth.

[00:22:51] She seemed to

[00:22:52] have understood

[00:22:52] something.

[00:22:53] A master

[00:22:54] Regulus from

[00:22:55] his pocket

[00:22:56] a locket

[00:22:57] a master

[00:22:59] Regulus took

[00:22:59] from his pocket

[00:23:00] a locket

[00:23:00] like the one

[00:23:01] the dark lord

[00:23:01] had said

[00:23:02] Creature.

[00:23:02] Tears pouring

[00:23:03] down either

[00:23:04] side of his

[00:23:04] snout like nose

[00:23:05] and he told

[00:23:06] Creature to

[00:23:06] take it and

[00:23:07] when the

[00:23:07] basin was empty

[00:23:08] to switch

[00:23:08] the lockets.

[00:23:11] What do you

[00:23:11] think of all

[00:23:12] of Creature's

[00:23:13] tale here?

[00:23:14] What do you

[00:23:15] think about

[00:23:15] this whole story

[00:23:44] that he's

[00:23:45] started this

[00:23:46] search for

[00:23:47] this?

[00:23:47] Why he was

[00:23:48] hunting for

[00:23:49] this?

[00:23:50] Is it because

[00:23:51] he just really

[00:23:51] loved Creature

[00:23:52] or is there

[00:23:53] something deeper

[00:23:53] behind that?

[00:23:55] Didn't he say

[00:23:55] something about

[00:23:56] protecting his

[00:23:57] family and

[00:23:58] just doing

[00:23:59] himself?

[00:24:01] Because I

[00:24:01] thought I was

[00:24:02] like okay

[00:24:02] maybe don't do

[00:24:04] Creature again

[00:24:05] but go find a

[00:24:06] different elf

[00:24:07] and make that

[00:24:08] elf drink the

[00:24:09] potion.

[00:24:14] Why didn't

[00:24:15] Dumbledore

[00:24:15] think about

[00:24:16] the elf?

[00:24:16] Or did he

[00:24:17] and he

[00:24:17] didn't want

[00:24:17] to endanger

[00:24:18] an elf

[00:24:18] because he

[00:24:20] is for

[00:24:20] elf rights?

[00:24:21] He would

[00:24:22] rather kill

[00:24:23] himself than

[00:24:24] kill an elf?

[00:24:26] Why?

[00:24:27] Why?

[00:24:28] Your question

[00:24:29] is great.

[00:24:29] Why did

[00:24:30] Dumbledore?

[00:24:31] I mean your

[00:24:31] question way

[00:24:32] back when was

[00:24:33] why did

[00:24:33] Dumbledore take

[00:24:34] Harry rather

[00:24:34] than Snape?

[00:24:36] Now you have

[00:24:37] that answered.

[00:24:37] He took Harry

[00:24:38] rather than

[00:24:39] Snape because

[00:24:41] only Harry

[00:24:42] and him

[00:24:42] could fit in

[00:24:42] the boat

[00:24:43] really.

[00:24:44] Because like

[00:24:44] Voldemort

[00:24:45] overlooked people

[00:24:46] who he deemed

[00:24:47] was lesser

[00:24:47] than him and

[00:24:47] Harry was

[00:24:48] still a kid.

[00:24:49] His like

[00:24:49] magical power

[00:24:50] didn't even

[00:24:50] register.

[00:24:51] But why

[00:24:51] didn't he

[00:24:52] take a

[00:24:52] house elf?

[00:24:52] Why didn't

[00:24:52] he take

[00:24:53] Dobby?

[00:24:53] No because

[00:24:54] if he knew

[00:24:54] two people

[00:24:55] couldn't fit

[00:24:55] in the

[00:24:56] boat.

[00:24:56] Yeah.

[00:24:57] He would

[00:24:58] I'm 100%

[00:24:59] confident he

[00:25:00] would have

[00:25:00] came up with

[00:25:01] the idea of

[00:25:01] bring a

[00:25:02] house elf.

[00:25:03] Yeah.

[00:25:04] But maybe

[00:25:04] he's just

[00:25:05] too noble

[00:25:06] for that.

[00:25:07] But like

[00:25:07] killing yourself

[00:25:08] in front of

[00:25:09] one of your

[00:25:09] students is

[00:25:10] not like

[00:25:10] very noble.

[00:25:11] Agreed.

[00:25:12] Especially he

[00:25:13] needs you

[00:25:13] still.

[00:25:14] You could do

[00:25:15] it with a

[00:25:15] house elf and

[00:25:15] just tell the

[00:25:16] house elf to

[00:25:16] like you know

[00:25:17] hush up.

[00:25:18] Or just do

[00:25:19] this Horcrux

[00:25:20] last.

[00:25:20] Like realize

[00:25:22] that you have

[00:25:22] to drink the

[00:25:22] potion,

[00:25:23] leave,

[00:25:24] go hunt all

[00:25:24] the other

[00:25:25] Horcruxes

[00:25:25] with Harry

[00:25:26] and then come

[00:25:27] back to the

[00:25:28] cave with Harry.

[00:25:29] That's a little

[00:25:30] bit of a risk

[00:25:30] too because

[00:25:31] like Voldemort

[00:25:32] could,

[00:25:33] they don't

[00:25:33] know how

[00:25:34] much Voldemort

[00:25:34] checks up on

[00:25:35] these things.

[00:25:36] Um,

[00:25:37] so he could

[00:25:37] like take a

[00:25:37] creature in

[00:25:38] there like

[00:25:38] you know,

[00:25:39] creature,

[00:25:40] huh?

[00:25:40] He could

[00:25:41] take like

[00:25:41] some kind

[00:25:42] of creature

[00:25:42] in there

[00:25:42] once a

[00:25:43] month and

[00:25:44] go check

[00:25:44] up on the

[00:25:44] Horcrux and

[00:25:45] see if it's

[00:25:46] still there.

[00:25:46] And like

[00:25:47] there might

[00:25:47] be like,

[00:25:49] like when

[00:25:49] we were in

[00:25:50] the cave,

[00:25:51] the creepy

[00:25:51] thing was all

[00:25:52] those in

[00:25:52] fury,

[00:25:54] like where

[00:25:55] did all of

[00:25:55] them come

[00:25:56] from?

[00:25:56] Yeah.

[00:25:57] Did he like

[00:25:57] transport them

[00:25:58] in the cave or

[00:25:59] is Voldemort

[00:25:59] going there like

[00:26:00] once a week

[00:26:00] with another

[00:26:07] what if it's

[00:26:08] just the

[00:26:09] grave for all

[00:26:10] of the Death

[00:26:10] Eater?

[00:26:11] Yeah,

[00:26:11] it's a great

[00:26:12] oh man,

[00:26:12] that's creepy.

[00:26:15] Do you think

[00:26:16] the mass grave?

[00:26:17] Yeah.

[00:26:18] Do you think

[00:26:18] that Regulus is

[00:26:19] dead or alive?

[00:26:23] I hate this

[00:26:24] question.

[00:26:25] I like,

[00:26:26] I just want to

[00:26:26] thank all the

[00:26:26] people that are

[00:26:27] dead or dead,

[00:26:29] but I kind

[00:26:30] of feel like

[00:26:31] nobody that's

[00:26:31] dead is dead.

[00:26:33] I,

[00:26:34] I,

[00:26:36] he went into

[00:26:37] the water.

[00:26:39] I think if

[00:26:40] he survived,

[00:26:41] he would have

[00:26:42] come back

[00:26:44] to Creature

[00:26:46] or would

[00:26:47] have like,

[00:26:47] okay,

[00:26:47] he makes it

[00:26:48] out of the

[00:26:48] cave,

[00:26:48] he's in

[00:26:49] whatever country

[00:26:49] that is,

[00:26:50] and then he

[00:26:50] calls Creature

[00:26:51] to him and

[00:26:52] like make sure

[00:26:53] that Creature

[00:26:53] has destroyed it.

[00:26:54] I don't think

[00:26:54] if he was

[00:26:55] alive,

[00:26:55] he would have

[00:26:56] just let it

[00:26:56] be.

[00:26:57] Yeah.

[00:26:58] But how did

[00:26:59] he write the

[00:27:00] note?

[00:27:00] Or the note

[00:27:01] was already in

[00:27:01] the locket?

[00:27:01] It was already

[00:27:02] in the locket,

[00:27:02] yeah.

[00:27:11] There's like

[00:27:11] no answers in

[00:27:12] all of these

[00:27:13] chapters.

[00:27:14] I get it's

[00:27:15] very early on.

[00:27:17] But yeah,

[00:27:17] there's absolutely

[00:27:18] no closure.

[00:27:19] It's just like

[00:27:19] more depth.

[00:27:21] And then

[00:27:23] there's like

[00:27:23] another point

[00:27:24] to it where

[00:27:26] I mean like

[00:27:27] not all,

[00:27:27] you have,

[00:27:28] you can round

[00:27:29] out certain

[00:27:30] things in

[00:27:30] these chapters

[00:27:31] to come to

[00:27:31] some kind

[00:27:32] of conclusions

[00:27:32] about it.

[00:27:33] But even

[00:27:33] like with

[00:27:34] why he

[00:27:34] brought

[00:27:34] Harry,

[00:27:36] I think

[00:27:36] you understand

[00:27:37] it to some

[00:27:37] extent

[00:27:38] right now

[00:27:38] because

[00:27:40] if Dumbledore

[00:27:41] is trying

[00:27:42] to like

[00:27:42] defeat

[00:27:43] Horcruxes

[00:27:43] and defeat

[00:27:44] Voldemort,

[00:27:45] Harry probably

[00:27:46] has to be

[00:27:46] involved in

[00:27:46] that somehow

[00:27:47] and he's

[00:27:47] showing Harry

[00:27:48] how it's

[00:27:48] done here.

[00:27:49] He's showing

[00:27:50] him like

[00:27:50] the stakes

[00:27:50] and like

[00:27:51] the sickness

[00:27:52] that Voldemort

[00:27:53] has where he

[00:27:54] like does

[00:27:54] this kind

[00:27:55] of stuff.

[00:27:55] So I think

[00:27:56] it was useful

[00:27:57] that Harry

[00:27:57] saw that.

[00:27:58] I don't

[00:27:59] know,

[00:27:59] like it's

[00:28:00] a bit

[00:28:01] extreme.

[00:28:02] But yeah,

[00:28:02] none of your

[00:28:03] questions are

[00:28:03] really being

[00:28:03] answered here.

[00:28:04] He just gives

[00:28:04] you more

[00:28:05] questions and

[00:28:05] it just isn't

[00:28:06] like going to

[00:28:06] pop more

[00:28:07] theories in

[00:28:07] your head.

[00:28:08] I have zero

[00:28:08] answers.

[00:28:09] It's not

[00:28:09] going to,

[00:28:09] yeah.

[00:28:10] They're great

[00:28:11] chapters though.

[00:28:12] So it's actually

[00:28:13] one of the

[00:28:13] last little

[00:28:13] lines in this

[00:28:14] where it

[00:28:15] says,

[00:28:15] Creature,

[00:28:16] I want you

[00:28:17] please to go

[00:28:17] find Mundungus

[00:28:18] Fletcher.

[00:28:19] We need to

[00:28:20] find out where

[00:28:20] the locket,

[00:28:21] where Master

[00:28:22] Regula's

[00:28:22] locket is.

[00:28:23] It's really

[00:28:23] important.

[00:28:24] We want to

[00:28:25] finish the work

[00:28:25] that Master

[00:28:26] Regula started.

[00:28:27] We want to

[00:28:28] ensure he

[00:28:29] didn't die in

[00:28:29] vain.

[00:28:30] Creature

[00:28:31] dropped his

[00:28:31] fists and

[00:28:32] looked up at

[00:28:33] Harry.

[00:28:33] Find Mundungus

[00:28:34] Fletcher,

[00:28:35] he croaked,

[00:28:35] and bring

[00:28:36] him here to

[00:28:37] Grimold Place,

[00:28:38] said Harry.

[00:28:38] Do you

[00:28:38] think you

[00:28:39] could do

[00:28:39] that for

[00:28:39] us?

[00:28:40] Creature

[00:28:40] nodded and

[00:28:41] got to

[00:28:41] his feet.

[00:28:43] Harry had

[00:28:43] a sudden

[00:28:43] inspiration and

[00:28:44] he pulled

[00:28:45] Hagrid's

[00:28:45] purse and

[00:28:46] took out

[00:28:47] the fake

[00:28:47] horcrux,

[00:28:48] the substitute

[00:28:49] locket,

[00:28:50] in which

[00:28:51] Regula's

[00:28:51] placed the

[00:28:52] note to

[00:28:52] Voldemort.

[00:28:54] So he

[00:28:54] gives it to

[00:28:55] him.

[00:28:55] But I

[00:28:56] have two

[00:28:56] questions.

[00:28:58] What do

[00:28:58] you think

[00:28:59] about Harry

[00:28:59] giving this

[00:28:59] to him?

[00:29:01] And how

[00:29:02] are they

[00:29:02] going to

[00:29:02] open the

[00:29:02] locket?

[00:29:08] Like the

[00:29:08] locket

[00:29:09] opens up

[00:29:10] close.

[00:29:11] Oh,

[00:29:12] okay.

[00:29:12] Back to

[00:29:13] that.

[00:29:14] I think

[00:29:14] it's good

[00:29:15] that he

[00:29:15] gave him

[00:29:15] the locket

[00:29:16] because

[00:29:16] what else

[00:29:16] are you

[00:29:16] going to

[00:29:17] give him?

[00:29:17] And he's

[00:29:18] really

[00:29:18] trying to

[00:29:18] get on

[00:29:18] his good

[00:29:19] side.

[00:29:20] You

[00:29:24] locket's

[00:29:24] meaningful

[00:29:24] to him.

[00:29:25] So I

[00:29:25] like that

[00:29:26] he did

[00:29:26] that.

[00:29:26] And I

[00:29:26] think Harry

[00:29:27] needs to

[00:29:27] let go

[00:29:27] of the

[00:29:27] locket

[00:29:28] too because

[00:29:28] that was

[00:29:28] becoming a

[00:29:29] little weird

[00:29:29] to me.

[00:29:30] Yeah,

[00:29:30] for sure.

[00:29:32] So I

[00:29:33] support that

[00:29:34] decision.

[00:29:36] But how

[00:29:37] are we going

[00:29:37] to destroy

[00:29:38] the

[00:29:38] horcrux?

[00:29:41] Because they

[00:29:42] talk about

[00:29:42] how they

[00:29:42] couldn't get

[00:29:43] it open.

[00:29:45] So this

[00:29:46] is like the

[00:29:46] wilder thing

[00:29:47] that they

[00:29:47] were actually

[00:29:47] in possession

[00:29:48] of those

[00:29:48] horcrux in

[00:29:49] the fifth

[00:29:49] book when

[00:29:49] they were

[00:29:50] all trying

[00:29:50] to get it

[00:29:50] open.

[00:29:51] And then

[00:29:51] Screacher

[00:29:51] was like I

[00:29:51] couldn't get

[00:29:52] it open.

[00:29:52] So he

[00:29:53] kind of gave

[00:29:53] up and

[00:29:54] that's when

[00:29:54] Monongous came

[00:29:55] in and took

[00:29:55] it and he

[00:29:56] has it now.

[00:29:58] That's crazy.

[00:29:59] If they can't

[00:29:59] get it open,

[00:30:00] how are they

[00:30:00] going to

[00:30:01] actually get

[00:30:01] this horcrux

[00:30:02] open?

[00:30:06] With the

[00:30:06] snitch I

[00:30:07] opened at

[00:30:07] the close,

[00:30:07] this is all

[00:30:08] connected.

[00:30:10] Everyone

[00:30:10] is always

[00:30:11] connected.

[00:30:13] I don't

[00:30:13] know,

[00:30:14] I just need

[00:30:14] to sit here

[00:30:15] and think

[00:30:16] about this

[00:30:16] for hours

[00:30:17] on end.

[00:30:18] I know,

[00:30:18] and you're

[00:30:18] fresh off

[00:30:19] of this.

[00:30:19] I know,

[00:30:20] I haven't

[00:30:20] had any

[00:30:21] time to

[00:30:21] process this.

[00:30:22] It's due

[00:30:22] time.

[00:30:23] I should

[00:30:23] have slept.

[00:30:24] No,

[00:30:25] it's all

[00:30:25] right.

[00:30:25] This is

[00:30:25] great.

[00:30:30] So I

[00:30:30] okay,

[00:30:31] is the

[00:30:31] locket

[00:30:32] opening at

[00:30:32] the close?

[00:30:33] That's like

[00:30:33] obvious because

[00:30:34] duh,

[00:30:34] it opens

[00:30:35] at like

[00:30:36] the hinge.

[00:30:37] I don't

[00:30:37] think it's

[00:30:37] talking about

[00:30:38] the locket.

[00:30:38] Okay.

[00:30:39] The locket

[00:30:40] was in the

[00:30:40] cabinet and

[00:30:41] I had a

[00:30:41] moment.

[00:30:42] I was like,

[00:30:42] oh,

[00:30:42] the cabinet.

[00:30:43] I said

[00:30:43] something about

[00:30:44] the cabinet,

[00:30:45] but that's

[00:30:45] like a

[00:30:46] normal

[00:30:46] cabinet.

[00:30:47] Okay.

[00:30:50] I still

[00:30:51] feel like

[00:30:51] the snitch

[00:30:52] is going

[00:30:53] to open

[00:30:53] and I

[00:30:55] don't know.

[00:30:56] I think

[00:30:57] maybe there's

[00:30:57] like a

[00:30:59] no,

[00:31:00] nevermind.

[00:31:00] That's not,

[00:31:01] I was going

[00:31:02] to say there's

[00:31:02] like some

[00:31:03] method of

[00:31:03] destroying the

[00:31:03] horcruxes

[00:31:04] like in the

[00:31:05] snitch.

[00:31:05] Okay.

[00:31:05] If the

[00:31:06] snitch is

[00:31:07] opening like

[00:31:07] a little Easter

[00:31:08] egg as I'm

[00:31:10] picturing it.

[00:31:10] Okay.

[00:31:14] I don't know

[00:31:15] because they

[00:31:15] don't even know

[00:31:16] how to kill

[00:31:16] the horcrux,

[00:31:17] but maybe

[00:31:18] some of the

[00:31:19] order knows

[00:31:19] and they can

[00:31:20] just know

[00:31:22] because you

[00:31:22] can't even

[00:31:22] like write a

[00:31:23] letter and

[00:31:23] be like,

[00:31:24] how would one

[00:31:24] destroy horcrux

[00:31:25] because everyone

[00:31:26] would know.

[00:31:28] I guess they

[00:31:29] could go to

[00:31:29] slughorn.

[00:31:30] Maybe slughorn

[00:31:31] could become

[00:31:32] their like

[00:31:32] number one.

[00:31:42] Get me

[00:31:43] in on this

[00:31:44] business.

[00:31:44] Like I want

[00:31:45] to do it.

[00:31:45] And that to

[00:31:46] me was just

[00:31:46] like that felt

[00:31:47] wrong.

[00:31:48] Yeah.

[00:31:48] And I had a

[00:31:49] little bit of

[00:31:49] distrust for

[00:31:50] Lupin.

[00:31:51] Yeah.

[00:31:51] For like the

[00:31:52] first time

[00:31:53] ever.

[00:31:53] That is a

[00:31:55] wild one.

[00:31:55] I can't wait

[00:31:56] to talk about

[00:31:56] that one.

[00:31:57] But if you

[00:31:57] found slughorn

[00:31:58] again and you

[00:31:59] like cornered

[00:32:00] him and was

[00:32:00] like make

[00:32:01] like make

[00:32:02] him,

[00:32:03] I don't know,

[00:32:04] kill the horcrux,

[00:32:04] tell you everything

[00:32:05] he knows.

[00:32:06] Maybe it's just

[00:32:06] in Hermione's

[00:32:07] books.

[00:32:07] Like maybe she

[00:32:08] can just read

[00:32:08] the books and

[00:32:09] figure out how

[00:32:09] to kill a

[00:32:10] horcrux.

[00:32:10] Yeah,

[00:32:11] for sure.

[00:32:11] Because like I

[00:32:12] don't know what

[00:32:13] kind of magic is

[00:32:15] unmagicable again.

[00:32:18] There's a point

[00:32:18] to where

[00:32:21] Slughorn showed

[00:32:22] how like

[00:32:23] impenetrable his

[00:32:24] mind was in the

[00:32:25] last book where

[00:32:26] he was completely

[00:32:27] unwilling.

[00:32:27] The only thing

[00:32:28] that got him

[00:32:28] unwilling to do

[00:32:29] it was him

[00:32:30] being drunk.

[00:32:31] And he I

[00:32:32] don't I don't

[00:32:33] think he knows

[00:32:33] he even gave

[00:32:35] up the full

[00:32:35] memory because

[00:32:36] like it says

[00:32:37] Harry knew he

[00:32:37] was going to

[00:32:38] forget about

[00:32:38] this in the

[00:32:38] morning.

[00:32:39] So I don't

[00:32:40] think he knows

[00:32:40] what he's done

[00:32:41] and giving up

[00:32:42] Harry the

[00:32:42] memory.

[00:32:43] So if Harry

[00:32:43] goes back to

[00:32:44] Slughorn and

[00:32:45] is like you

[00:32:46] need to tell me

[00:32:47] how to defeat

[00:32:47] these things and

[00:32:48] kill these things.

[00:32:48] I think Slughorn

[00:32:49] will just be so

[00:32:50] adamant because I

[00:32:50] think he's so

[00:32:51] overridden with

[00:32:52] guilt for like

[00:32:52] aiding Voldemort

[00:32:53] in this.

[00:32:54] I don't think

[00:32:55] he's going to be

[00:32:55] like okay let

[00:32:56] me lay it out

[00:32:57] for you.

[00:32:57] If you

[00:32:58] imperious him

[00:32:59] can you still

[00:32:59] like use his

[00:33:01] knowledge or

[00:33:02] does that

[00:33:02] like so

[00:33:04] it's like a

[00:33:04] glaze.

[00:33:05] So you'd have

[00:33:05] to like give

[00:33:06] him Veritas

[00:33:06] serum maybe.

[00:33:07] But I mean

[00:33:08] he's like a

[00:33:08] potion master.

[00:33:09] He's going to

[00:33:09] have all these

[00:33:10] antidotes on him

[00:33:10] already.

[00:33:11] So if he takes

[00:33:11] Veritas serum

[00:33:13] and starts spilling

[00:33:14] his truth he's

[00:33:14] going to let go

[00:33:15] in his pocket

[00:33:15] and be like

[00:33:16] I'm going to

[00:33:16] take this.

[00:33:17] I still feel

[00:33:18] like you could

[00:33:18] just walk up to

[00:33:19] Slughorn in

[00:33:20] whatever house

[00:33:21] he's crashing in

[00:33:22] at the moment

[00:33:22] and be like I

[00:33:23] found a Horcrux

[00:33:24] we're going to

[00:33:25] kill this right

[00:33:25] now and you're

[00:33:26] not going to

[00:33:26] leave until we

[00:33:27] do.

[00:33:27] And I feel

[00:33:28] like if you

[00:33:28] held it in

[00:33:29] front of his

[00:33:30] face he would

[00:33:30] want to destroy

[00:33:31] it because it's

[00:33:31] like I think

[00:33:33] he's still

[00:33:33] guilty about

[00:33:34] it based on

[00:33:35] his memory.

[00:33:38] You know it

[00:33:39] would be so I

[00:33:40] kind of hope

[00:33:40] that Slughorn

[00:33:41] comes back like

[00:33:42] that.

[00:33:43] Like he's

[00:33:43] probably just

[00:33:44] going to die

[00:33:44] for some reason.

[00:33:49] Maybe you need

[00:33:50] to just do

[00:33:51] something with

[00:33:52] the Elder

[00:33:52] Wand.

[00:33:55] So they got

[00:33:55] to find the

[00:33:56] Elder Wand

[00:33:56] and the Elder

[00:33:57] Wand is going

[00:33:57] to be the

[00:33:57] thing that

[00:33:57] kills all

[00:33:58] these Horcruxes.

[00:33:58] Maybe every

[00:33:59] spell that

[00:34:00] comes out of

[00:34:00] the Elder

[00:34:01] Wand.

[00:34:01] Where is

[00:34:02] the Elder

[00:34:02] Wand?

[00:34:02] I don't even

[00:34:03] know what

[00:34:03] it is.

[00:34:04] Yeah what

[00:34:04] is the Elder

[00:34:05] Wand?

[00:34:05] I don't

[00:34:06] know.

[00:34:07] Tumbledore's

[00:34:07] Who is the

[00:34:08] Elder Wand?

[00:34:08] Will you wear

[00:34:09] wigs?

[00:34:10] Do you wear

[00:34:11] wigs?

[00:34:11] Every time

[00:34:12] you go maybe

[00:34:13] that's what

[00:34:14] I think about.

[00:34:16] Maybe.

[00:34:20] Oh yeah

[00:34:20] yeah.

[00:34:21] Now this is

[00:34:21] like inside

[00:34:22] joke and

[00:34:22] everyone's confused.

[00:34:24] A lot of

[00:34:25] people have seen

[00:34:25] that.

[00:34:28] I don't

[00:34:29] know did I

[00:34:29] like even

[00:34:30] touch your

[00:34:30] question at

[00:34:31] all?

[00:34:32] They were

[00:34:33] great.

[00:34:33] I don't even

[00:34:34] remember the

[00:34:34] things you asked

[00:34:35] me.

[00:34:35] Whatever questions

[00:34:35] I ask you can

[00:34:36] forfeit and

[00:34:36] answer anything

[00:34:38] that you want

[00:34:38] or talk about

[00:34:39] anything that

[00:34:39] you want.

[00:34:39] I feel like

[00:34:40] I'm doing

[00:34:40] that inadvertently.

[00:34:41] That's great.

[00:34:42] That's perfect.

[00:34:42] I'm trying but

[00:34:43] I don't think

[00:34:44] I'm there.

[00:34:45] I'm just

[00:34:45] dancing around

[00:34:46] the topic.

[00:34:47] Alright let's

[00:34:47] go to chapter

[00:34:48] 11 which is

[00:34:49] the bribe because

[00:34:49] I really just

[00:34:50] want to talk

[00:34:50] about Lupin

[00:34:51] in this chapter

[00:34:52] because this is

[00:34:53] a chapter where

[00:34:53] they talk to

[00:34:54] Lupin and it

[00:34:54] has like a whole

[00:34:55] little bit of

[00:34:56] information and

[00:34:56] he's like I'm

[00:34:58] leaving.

[00:34:58] He's like I'll

[00:34:58] help you guys

[00:34:59] out with anything

[00:35:00] you need.

[00:35:00] I'll abandon

[00:35:01] my wife and

[00:35:02] my forthcoming

[00:35:02] child to help

[00:35:04] you guys.

[00:35:04] And yeah he's

[00:35:05] like I made a

[00:35:05] terrible mistake.

[00:35:07] This is like I

[00:35:08] shouldn't have

[00:35:08] done this and

[00:35:09] I was like

[00:35:10] I was I oh

[00:35:12] my gosh when I

[00:35:13] was reading this

[00:35:13] it was like

[00:35:14] insane to me.

[00:35:15] I just like how

[00:35:17] could you do

[00:35:17] that?

[00:35:17] Like you made a

[00:35:18] terrible mistake.

[00:35:19] Yeah.

[00:35:20] Like I think

[00:35:20] they'd be fine

[00:35:21] together but I

[00:35:22] think it is just

[00:35:22] the timing of

[00:35:23] like the fact

[00:35:24] that they're both

[00:35:25] in the order and

[00:35:26] the world is

[00:35:27] crashing down.

[00:35:28] That's like the

[00:35:29] main issue because

[00:35:29] if they even if

[00:35:31] they weren't in

[00:35:31] the order right

[00:35:32] now I think

[00:35:33] their marriage

[00:35:34] would be fine.

[00:35:36] It's just because

[00:35:37] they're both in

[00:35:37] such like vulnerable

[00:35:39] high stakes

[00:35:40] positions.

[00:35:41] Like if you were

[00:35:42] just a normal

[00:35:42] wizard right now I

[00:35:43] think it'd be

[00:35:43] fine.

[00:35:44] Yeah.

[00:35:45] And then okay so

[00:35:46] you have a little

[00:35:47] wolf baby just

[00:35:49] like stay at home

[00:35:50] until Voldemort

[00:35:50] dies.

[00:35:52] Put a fence in

[00:35:53] your yard and

[00:35:54] let them roam

[00:35:55] free.

[00:35:57] Like I feel like

[00:35:58] that would be kind

[00:35:58] of cute low key

[00:35:59] like wolf babies

[00:36:00] but I don't think

[00:36:01] they're gonna be

[00:36:02] like very

[00:36:04] wolfish.

[00:36:07] I mean Lupin's

[00:36:08] not very wolfish.

[00:36:10] No.

[00:36:13] I don't.

[00:36:13] I think it's fine.

[00:36:15] I just I can't

[00:36:16] believe that he

[00:36:17] was saying that

[00:36:17] and saying it to

[00:36:18] Harry and then

[00:36:19] like doing some

[00:36:20] spell to Harry

[00:36:21] where he's like

[00:36:22] knocked into the

[00:36:23] wall.

[00:36:23] I was like you're

[00:36:23] a grown man.

[00:36:24] Yeah I know.

[00:36:25] This is Lupin's

[00:36:26] low moment.

[00:36:27] Yeah this is so

[00:36:28] bad.

[00:36:29] Yeah.

[00:36:29] It's really bad.

[00:36:34] Yeah I want to

[00:36:35] talk more about

[00:36:35] that because I

[00:36:36] want to like do a

[00:36:37] little deep dive on

[00:36:37] Lupin for a bit.

[00:36:38] But before that

[00:36:40] they are looking at

[00:36:41] these objects again.

[00:36:42] Do you have any

[00:36:43] further theories on

[00:36:44] why Dumbledore

[00:36:45] left them these

[00:36:45] three objects?

[00:36:47] Open to the

[00:36:48] close.

[00:36:50] The Deluminator

[00:36:51] in this little book.

[00:36:53] The Deluminator

[00:36:55] has already

[00:36:55] come in handy.

[00:36:57] Yeah.

[00:36:58] So that's

[00:36:59] cool.

[00:37:01] Yep.

[00:37:01] Maybe there's like

[00:37:03] something hidden

[00:37:04] in.

[00:37:04] I just imagine

[00:37:05] like a lighter

[00:37:06] like the old

[00:37:07] fat.

[00:37:08] Feels like that.

[00:37:09] Yeah.

[00:37:09] With the pop up

[00:37:10] lid.

[00:37:10] Yeah it feels

[00:37:11] like that.

[00:37:11] That's what I

[00:37:11] think.

[00:37:16] No I don't have

[00:37:17] any further

[00:37:18] theories.

[00:37:18] theories.

[00:37:21] The only thing

[00:37:22] is now that

[00:37:24] Snape is

[00:37:24] headmaster.

[00:37:25] Hello.

[00:37:27] That he has

[00:37:28] a sword.

[00:37:29] Yeah.

[00:37:31] So.

[00:37:31] That's like

[00:37:32] that's not even

[00:37:33] my own thought

[00:37:33] though.

[00:37:34] That's just like

[00:37:34] fact.

[00:37:35] I don't have

[00:37:36] any more theories.

[00:37:37] I have had zero

[00:37:37] time to think

[00:37:38] about this

[00:37:38] actually.

[00:37:41] What do you

[00:37:42] think about

[00:37:42] Snape being

[00:37:42] headmaster?

[00:37:43] I hate it.

[00:37:45] It's like the

[00:37:46] worst thing

[00:37:46] possibly ever to

[00:37:48] have in Hogwarts.

[00:37:50] in Hogwarts

[00:37:51] history.

[00:37:51] And it's a

[00:37:52] double whammy

[00:37:52] too.

[00:37:52] Where's

[00:37:53] McGonagall

[00:37:53] too?

[00:37:54] I know

[00:37:54] she's still

[00:37:55] there.

[00:37:55] How is

[00:37:56] she not

[00:37:56] headmistress?

[00:37:58] Because the

[00:37:59] schools under

[00:38:00] Voldemort's

[00:38:02] like influence

[00:38:03] now.

[00:38:03] But she's

[00:38:04] literally the

[00:38:05] headmistress.

[00:38:06] They're just

[00:38:07] going around

[00:38:08] all of the

[00:38:09] rules.

[00:38:10] Yeah.

[00:38:11] So Snape

[00:38:11] is like I

[00:38:12] feel like every

[00:38:12] Snape can't be

[00:38:14] happy that he's

[00:38:14] headmaster though.

[00:38:15] I feel like

[00:38:16] because he at

[00:38:17] least has to

[00:38:17] deal with like

[00:38:18] McGonagall

[00:38:19] Sprout.

[00:38:20] Yeah for

[00:38:20] sure.

[00:38:20] Whoever else

[00:38:21] is left

[00:38:21] that's good.

[00:38:22] There's like

[00:38:23] some I

[00:38:25] don't know

[00:38:25] like that's

[00:38:26] not cool to

[00:38:26] be around

[00:38:27] people like

[00:38:27] that where

[00:38:28] like oh I

[00:38:28] betrayed you.

[00:38:29] I got

[00:38:30] you.

[00:38:30] I killed

[00:38:32] our leader

[00:38:33] Dumbledore.

[00:38:34] He can't be

[00:38:35] cool with that

[00:38:36] decision but

[00:38:37] he's going to

[00:38:38] have to be I

[00:38:38] guess.

[00:38:39] He's definitely

[00:38:39] not feeling

[00:38:40] great after

[00:38:40] what he's

[00:38:41] done and

[00:38:41] he probably

[00:38:41] feels a lot

[00:38:42] of guilt for

[00:38:42] all this all

[00:38:43] the for killing

[00:38:44] Dumbledore and

[00:38:45] for being around

[00:38:45] these people that

[00:38:46] like hate him

[00:38:46] and that know

[00:38:47] what he's

[00:38:47] done.

[00:38:48] You literally

[00:38:48] killed the

[00:38:49] headmaster and

[00:38:50] then you become

[00:38:50] the headmaster

[00:38:51] like that.

[00:38:53] You become what

[00:38:54] you kill or

[00:38:54] something I don't

[00:38:55] know there's some

[00:38:55] phrase in that.

[00:38:57] Yeah you are

[00:38:58] what you kill.

[00:38:59] You are what you

[00:39:00] kill.

[00:39:04] but it's not good

[00:39:07] news and he's in

[00:39:07] possession of the

[00:39:08] sword too which

[00:39:09] is like a double

[00:39:10] whammy.

[00:39:10] Yeah because that

[00:39:11] might be a

[00:39:12] horcrux.

[00:39:13] Yeah or even to

[00:39:14] your point that

[00:39:15] might be what they

[00:39:15] use to kill

[00:39:16] horcruxes.

[00:39:18] Like there's a

[00:39:19] possibility because

[00:39:19] you said that last

[00:39:20] podcast.

[00:39:23] Yeah I guess so.

[00:39:24] You forgot it.

[00:39:25] You don't even

[00:39:26] remember what you

[00:39:26] said last time.

[00:39:27] I don't remember

[00:39:27] it.

[00:39:27] I'm just like I

[00:39:28] feel less certain

[00:39:30] about that.

[00:39:31] Like I don't think

[00:39:31] I don't know

[00:39:34] because I feel like

[00:39:35] it has to be a

[00:39:36] spell because any

[00:39:38] way you use a

[00:39:39] sword it's going to

[00:39:39] be like blunt

[00:39:40] force.

[00:39:42] So unless it's the

[00:39:44] sword itself has

[00:39:46] been.

[00:39:50] Magicked like then

[00:39:52] that you need a

[00:39:53] spell to kill a

[00:39:54] horcrux I think or

[00:39:56] like a volcano that

[00:39:58] you.

[00:40:00] Okay we're doing a

[00:40:01] crossover here that

[00:40:02] is Lord of the

[00:40:02] Rings but I wonder

[00:40:05] if you threw a

[00:40:06] horcrux in a vat of

[00:40:08] like lava if it

[00:40:10] would dissolve the

[00:40:11] horcrux.

[00:40:13] Well the whole

[00:40:14] thing is like the

[00:40:15] ring that's where it

[00:40:17] came from basically.

[00:40:19] Yeah.

[00:40:20] So the horcrux

[00:40:21] came maybe you

[00:40:22] could just like feed

[00:40:23] it to Voldemort.

[00:40:24] He has to eat it.

[00:40:25] They can eat it.

[00:40:27] It's like the

[00:40:28] snitch that has a

[00:40:29] flash memory when

[00:40:29] you eat it it undoes

[00:40:31] itself.

[00:40:32] Only remorse again so

[00:40:33] he's got to be

[00:40:33] remorseful over what

[00:40:34] he's done in order

[00:40:35] for it to be undone.

[00:40:36] Maybe you can like

[00:40:36] bring the horcrux to

[00:40:37] the person that died

[00:40:40] when it was made

[00:40:41] and you can like

[00:40:44] do some spell with

[00:40:45] their like bones and

[00:40:47] their body.

[00:40:48] Oh creepy.

[00:40:49] Like re-intertwine

[00:40:50] them and then

[00:40:51] that's it.

[00:40:52] That's really creepy.

[00:40:54] Because there's still

[00:40:54] like no other

[00:40:55] information about that

[00:40:57] other than somebody

[00:40:58] has to be killed

[00:40:59] then you can make a

[00:41:00] horcrux.

[00:41:02] Yeah and Joe hasn't

[00:41:03] given us any extra

[00:41:05] information on anything

[00:41:06] too.

[00:41:06] Like she's refused.

[00:41:07] People have asked her

[00:41:08] and she's like oh

[00:41:09] it's too dark to talk

[00:41:10] about.

[00:41:10] She wrote it one time

[00:41:11] for her editor and

[00:41:12] her editor is like no

[00:41:12] we can't include this in

[00:41:13] any books or anything

[00:41:14] like that.

[00:41:15] So like they she

[00:41:16] included more detail

[00:41:17] but I'm I'd be curious

[00:41:18] like what other fan

[00:41:19] theories are on what

[00:41:21] happens to the people

[00:41:22] who are are the

[00:41:23] victims of horcrux

[00:41:24] making.

[00:41:25] Like are they in a

[00:41:26] weird way like

[00:41:29] horcruxes themselves?

[00:41:30] I feel like they

[00:41:31] are.

[00:41:32] Yeah.

[00:41:33] It's a fascinating

[00:41:34] little question.

[00:41:35] Because the soul it

[00:41:36] said can like flit to

[00:41:37] nearby things.

[00:41:38] So I almost feel like

[00:41:39] you kill somebody

[00:41:40] maybe your soul like

[00:41:42] flits into them and

[00:41:43] then you kind of like

[00:41:45] I don't know is that

[00:41:46] like some form of

[00:41:47] torture or something

[00:41:48] before you're actually

[00:41:49] dead or they like

[00:41:51] melt and like rot

[00:41:53] into nothingness and

[00:41:54] then like you have to

[00:41:56] go back and flit into

[00:41:57] an object then because

[00:41:58] like you've destroyed a

[00:41:59] human.

[00:42:00] That's gross.

[00:42:01] It's like you've

[00:42:01] killed their soul but

[00:42:02] then you've also

[00:42:02] destroyed their body

[00:42:04] and then the

[00:42:06] horcrux.

[00:42:07] I don't know.

[00:42:08] That's really gross.

[00:42:09] That's crazy that she

[00:42:10] wrote something and

[00:42:11] then just was like

[00:42:12] no you guys can't

[00:42:14] take it.

[00:42:16] Yeah.

[00:42:17] Maybe when she dies

[00:42:18] they'll like release

[00:42:20] everything.

[00:42:21] No way.

[00:42:22] I don't think I

[00:42:23] don't think there's

[00:42:23] like there's certain

[00:42:24] things I think she

[00:42:25] kept between her

[00:42:25] editor that she

[00:42:26] probably like burned

[00:42:27] after she she had

[00:42:28] them.

[00:42:28] If she dies and they

[00:42:29] release things I'll

[00:42:30] be bummed.

[00:42:31] I hate when they do

[00:42:32] that kind of stuff

[00:42:33] and she's been

[00:42:34] really good about

[00:42:35] like releasing she's

[00:42:35] like written other

[00:42:36] stuff but on her

[00:42:37] website and she's

[00:42:37] like very adamant

[00:42:38] she's not writing

[00:42:39] anything else about

[00:42:39] it.

[00:42:40] So like she's

[00:42:41] finished this little

[00:42:41] like canon of Harry

[00:42:42] Potter and she's

[00:42:43] like moving on with

[00:42:44] other stuff which is

[00:42:46] fine.

[00:42:46] But the fans like have

[00:42:47] taken over for some

[00:42:47] stuff now.

[00:42:48] So like HBO Warner

[00:42:51] Brothers they're kind of

[00:42:53] taking the helm on

[00:42:54] like maybe expanding the

[00:42:55] universe which is

[00:42:55] good.

[00:42:56] I think that should

[00:42:56] happen.

[00:42:59] But this is the one

[00:43:00] of the more devastating

[00:43:01] lines.

[00:43:03] You don't understand

[00:43:04] said Lupin at last.

[00:43:05] Explain then said

[00:43:06] Harry.

[00:43:06] Lupin swallowed.

[00:43:07] I made a grave

[00:43:09] mistake in marrying

[00:43:10] Tonks.

[00:43:11] I did it against my

[00:43:12] better judgment and I

[00:43:13] regretted it very much

[00:43:14] ever since.

[00:43:15] I see said Harry.

[00:43:17] So you're just going

[00:43:17] to dump her and the

[00:43:18] kid and run off with

[00:43:19] us.

[00:43:20] Lupin sprang to his

[00:43:21] feet.

[00:43:21] His chair toppled

[00:43:22] over backward and he

[00:43:23] glared at them so

[00:43:24] fiercely that Harry

[00:43:25] saw for the first time

[00:43:25] ever the shadow of the

[00:43:26] wolf upon his human

[00:43:27] face.

[00:43:28] Don't you understand

[00:43:29] what I've done to my

[00:43:30] wife and my unborn

[00:43:31] child.

[00:43:31] I should never have

[00:43:33] married her.

[00:43:33] I've made her an

[00:43:34] outcast.

[00:43:36] Should Lupin have

[00:43:37] married Tonks?

[00:43:39] Like the wolf

[00:43:41] aspect of this does

[00:43:43] not matter to Tonks.

[00:43:44] I don't think.

[00:43:45] Either it mattered

[00:43:47] and she made peace

[00:43:48] with it and she put it

[00:43:49] aside.

[00:43:49] But like I don't

[00:43:51] think that's really a

[00:43:52] factor to Tonks

[00:43:52] because she loves him

[00:43:53] regardless.

[00:43:55] OK.

[00:43:55] So he's like all up in

[00:43:56] his head about this

[00:43:58] and he's literally

[00:43:59] going to jeopardize

[00:44:00] their whole marriage,

[00:44:01] their whole family

[00:44:02] because he thinks

[00:44:03] that's like a big

[00:44:04] factor.

[00:44:05] And like talk to

[00:44:06] Tonks and I'm sure

[00:44:07] Tonks is going to be

[00:44:08] like I know you're a

[00:44:09] werewolf.

[00:44:09] I'm fine with that.

[00:44:11] Like I Lupin

[00:44:12] hasn't internalized

[00:44:14] that.

[00:44:14] I don't think.

[00:44:15] And then.

[00:44:15] Yeah.

[00:44:16] Now he's like that.

[00:44:17] I will say that there

[00:44:18] is a slight point that

[00:44:19] Lupin has and that he

[00:44:20] is very dangerous

[00:44:21] and he has made.

[00:44:23] He's not.

[00:44:24] Yeah.

[00:44:24] He's OK to some

[00:44:26] extent, but he can be

[00:44:27] he has a potential to

[00:44:28] be very dangerous.

[00:44:29] But he hasn't been

[00:44:30] for years.

[00:44:31] Yeah.

[00:44:31] And now he's like this

[00:44:33] what I'm saying

[00:44:34] because of their jobs.

[00:44:36] The jobs is like the

[00:44:37] main factor here

[00:44:38] because he's on orders

[00:44:40] to like become a

[00:44:41] werewolf.

[00:44:42] But it's like not a

[00:44:43] factor when he has his

[00:44:45] potion all the time.

[00:44:46] And I'm sure someone

[00:44:46] else besides Snape can

[00:44:48] like learn how to make

[00:44:48] this potion, too.

[00:44:49] Yeah, for sure.

[00:44:50] I mean, he's probably

[00:44:51] getting it from other

[00:44:52] sources all over the

[00:44:53] place, not just Snape.

[00:44:54] So he's probably just,

[00:44:55] you know, slips his

[00:44:55] wolfbane potion.

[00:44:56] But it's even more so

[00:44:57] than that.

[00:44:58] It's like some of the

[00:45:00] like minutia of him,

[00:45:01] that he's talking

[00:45:02] about, like he's made

[00:45:03] them outcasts, like they

[00:45:04] can't like do a ton

[00:45:05] because, you know,

[00:45:07] they're deemed as

[00:45:07] these lesser than people

[00:45:10] because Lupin's a

[00:45:11] werewolf and Lupin is

[00:45:12] dealing with immense

[00:45:13] guilt over some of the

[00:45:14] stuff.

[00:45:15] So some of the stuff is

[00:45:16] petty and I completely

[00:45:17] agree with you.

[00:45:18] But is there any point

[00:45:19] to it where Tonks

[00:45:20] doesn't even know

[00:45:23] what has happened to

[00:45:24] her and she's just

[00:45:30] like head over heels

[00:45:31] for this guy?

[00:45:32] And isn't really

[00:45:33] looking at the

[00:45:33] consequences.

[00:45:34] Do you think that at

[00:45:35] all?

[00:45:36] Or do you think Tonks

[00:45:36] is going into this

[00:45:37] knowing what she's

[00:45:38] getting herself into?

[00:45:40] I think she probably

[00:45:41] knows what she's

[00:45:42] getting herself into,

[00:45:43] but she's so in love

[00:45:45] that it doesn't matter

[00:45:45] to her.

[00:45:46] Yeah.

[00:45:47] But like maybe

[00:45:48] that's fine with her

[00:45:50] just being an outcast

[00:45:51] or being a little

[00:45:53] hermit for the rest

[00:45:54] of her life.

[00:45:56] She seems so cool

[00:45:57] in the beginning.

[00:45:58] Like I don't want her

[00:45:59] to have no life

[00:45:59] and no friends,

[00:46:00] but she has the

[00:46:01] whole order and I

[00:46:02] feel like a lot of

[00:46:03] people do support her

[00:46:04] and they have like

[00:46:05] the same friend group

[00:46:06] anyway.

[00:46:08] So if you kind of

[00:46:10] have that anyway

[00:46:11] and nobody else cares.

[00:46:13] She's got a little

[00:46:13] support group,

[00:46:14] so she's kind of good.

[00:46:15] Yeah.

[00:46:16] So I feel like low-key

[00:46:17] you just need like

[00:46:18] three friends in your

[00:46:19] five or like some

[00:46:21] of us.

[00:46:22] So TikTok,

[00:46:24] it's like all you

[00:46:24] need, you don't need,

[00:46:25] you don't need a whole

[00:46:26] crew of friends.

[00:46:26] You just need three

[00:46:31] dogs or whatever.

[00:46:33] Because I feel like

[00:46:33] she has Mrs. Weasley.

[00:46:35] That's a good friend.

[00:46:36] Yeah, for sure.

[00:46:37] Literally never

[00:46:38] encountered anyone

[00:46:39] else's Tonks age.

[00:46:40] Mm-hmm.

[00:46:42] Lupin is,

[00:46:43] you are,

[00:46:44] you've nailed him

[00:46:45] on the head.

[00:46:45] He is very stuck

[00:46:46] in his own head

[00:46:46] about this.

[00:46:48] He thinks things

[00:46:49] are like maybe

[00:46:50] a much more

[00:46:51] significant deal

[00:46:52] than Tonks does

[00:46:54] because I think

[00:46:54] Tonks is still

[00:46:55] going out and you

[00:46:55] know,

[00:46:56] she can still have

[00:46:56] a social life

[00:46:57] and like,

[00:46:57] you know,

[00:46:58] I think Lupin

[00:46:58] doesn't really

[00:47:01] let himself

[00:47:02] do that

[00:47:03] because of the guilt

[00:47:04] and because he's

[00:47:05] like very much

[00:47:06] a loner

[00:47:06] and because all

[00:47:06] his friends have

[00:47:07] died and he's

[00:47:08] like bearing

[00:47:09] that guilt.

[00:47:10] So he doesn't

[00:47:10] let himself

[00:47:12] free or off

[00:47:12] the hook for that.

[00:47:13] And now he feels

[00:47:14] even more guilty

[00:47:15] because he brought

[00:47:16] someone else

[00:47:16] into this mess

[00:47:17] which he still

[00:47:18] thinks is a mess

[00:47:19] but Tonks

[00:47:20] doesn't think

[00:47:20] it's a mess

[00:47:21] but now he's

[00:47:22] trying to come

[00:47:22] with a reckoning

[00:47:23] that like

[00:47:24] Tonks has

[00:47:24] to live

[00:47:25] the life that

[00:47:26] he's living.

[00:47:26] I think Tonks

[00:47:27] is so secure

[00:47:28] and independent

[00:47:30] in any way

[00:47:30] that she would

[00:47:31] be out there

[00:47:31] like wolf babies

[00:47:33] and all

[00:47:33] and like not care

[00:47:35] at all.

[00:47:35] And have like

[00:47:35] the full confidence

[00:47:36] to be like

[00:47:36] yeah,

[00:47:37] these are

[00:47:37] no problem

[00:47:38] with me.

[00:47:38] But I think

[00:47:39] this all goes

[00:47:39] back to Lupin's

[00:47:40] issue of like

[00:47:41] running away

[00:47:41] from his problems

[00:47:43] instead of

[00:47:44] working through

[00:47:45] them because

[00:47:45] this could easily

[00:47:46] be worked through

[00:47:47] to me

[00:47:48] or in my opinion.

[00:47:51] How?

[00:47:53] Let's talk

[00:47:53] about it.

[00:47:58] things like

[00:47:58] between themselves

[00:47:59] like

[00:48:00] I'm

[00:48:01] now I really

[00:48:02] feel like

[00:48:02] the marriage

[00:48:02] was rushed

[00:48:03] from the hospital

[00:48:05] back in the other

[00:48:06] book to this

[00:48:07] and like

[00:48:08] if we held

[00:48:09] off for like

[00:48:10] six months

[00:48:11] you could have

[00:48:12] all these

[00:48:13] conversations

[00:48:13] then

[00:48:15] maybe it

[00:48:16] wouldn't be

[00:48:16] so bad.

[00:48:17] Agreed.

[00:48:17] Because then

[00:48:17] Lupin I think

[00:48:19] also feels so

[00:48:20] trapped because

[00:48:21] he's married now

[00:48:22] which I think

[00:48:22] worsens the

[00:48:23] like

[00:48:25] the flight

[00:48:26] response

[00:48:26] of like

[00:48:28] escape

[00:48:28] I'm trapped.

[00:48:30] Yep.

[00:48:30] But

[00:48:31] I don't know

[00:48:32] like he should

[00:48:32] just let himself

[00:48:33] love Tonks

[00:48:35] and it'll all

[00:48:36] be fine

[00:48:36] because they love

[00:48:37] each other

[00:48:38] and love

[00:48:39] always wins.

[00:48:43] Yeah.

[00:48:46] Yeah.

[00:48:47] Yeah.

[00:48:47] Easier said

[00:48:48] than done

[00:48:48] though.

[00:48:49] But like

[00:48:50] they're in a

[00:48:51] relationship

[00:48:51] like they can

[00:48:52] just let it

[00:48:53] go and just

[00:48:53] like I don't

[00:48:54] know.

[00:48:55] I don't think

[00:48:56] I think they

[00:48:56] I think this

[00:48:57] relationship would

[00:48:57] work great

[00:48:58] had Lupin

[00:48:59] wrapped his

[00:48:59] head around

[00:49:00] certain things

[00:49:00] again I'm

[00:49:00] kind of with

[00:49:01] you.

[00:49:01] If Lupin

[00:49:02] had maybe

[00:49:03] like six more

[00:49:03] months and

[00:49:04] other people

[00:49:04] weren't pushing

[00:49:05] him into

[00:49:05] this I still

[00:49:06] think he would

[00:49:07] have I think

[00:49:08] he really

[00:49:08] loves Tonks

[00:49:11] you even see

[00:49:12] that in his

[00:49:17] obviously not

[00:49:18] he's kind of

[00:49:19] a fool he's

[00:49:19] kind of stupid

[00:49:20] here but he's

[00:49:21] trying to love

[00:49:22] her in the best

[00:49:22] way that he can

[00:49:23] at the moment

[00:49:24] because he's

[00:49:24] like freaking

[00:49:24] out and

[00:49:25] panicking but

[00:49:28] if he didn't

[00:49:28] have the pressure

[00:49:29] from the outside

[00:49:29] for everyone

[00:49:30] saying like oh

[00:49:31] you should get

[00:49:31] married you know

[00:49:32] love each other

[00:49:32] and then if he

[00:49:34] if they spent

[00:49:35] more time just

[00:49:36] sitting down and

[00:49:36] talking about

[00:49:37] some of this

[00:49:37] stuff I think

[00:49:39] they would have

[00:49:39] been great.

[00:49:40] They need to go

[00:49:41] on more dates.

[00:49:42] Yeah seriously

[00:49:43] yeah they need

[00:49:43] more date nights.

[00:49:44] I think yeah I

[00:49:45] feel like if they

[00:49:46] just didn't get

[00:49:46] married for like a

[00:49:47] year or something

[00:49:48] yeah because it

[00:49:49] is sad for him

[00:49:50] to feel so rushed

[00:49:51] I agreed and

[00:49:53] like he's placing

[00:49:54] the blame on

[00:49:54] himself but at

[00:49:56] the end of the

[00:49:56] day I feel like

[00:49:57] there's nothing to

[00:49:58] blame yourself for

[00:49:58] because if Tonks

[00:49:59] doesn't care that

[00:50:00] you're a wolf

[00:50:02] it doesn't matter

[00:50:04] yeah and

[00:50:06] unless if you're

[00:50:07] gonna like eat

[00:50:08] your own baby

[00:50:08] or like something

[00:50:09] whack like that

[00:50:11] but I don't see

[00:50:12] that happening.

[00:50:13] I feel like

[00:50:13] Tonks is good

[00:50:14] enough that she

[00:50:14] can like stop

[00:50:15] that.

[00:50:16] Yeah.

[00:50:18] If Lupin's

[00:50:18] feeling wolfy

[00:50:20] she can just

[00:50:20] like you know

[00:50:21] cast a few

[00:50:22] spells and

[00:50:22] protect her.

[00:50:23] Wolfish.

[00:50:23] Yeah exactly.

[00:50:25] How did Harry

[00:50:26] handle the whole

[00:50:26] situation?

[00:50:27] How did you

[00:50:27] like how Harry

[00:50:29] dealt with it?

[00:50:30] I don't know.

[00:50:32] Honestly.

[00:50:34] It's a little

[00:50:35] intense.

[00:50:36] I get that

[00:50:39] response

[00:50:39] because like

[00:50:40] I'm a bit

[00:50:41] that way

[00:50:43] of where

[00:50:44] like I would

[00:50:44] just rather

[00:50:45] say like the

[00:50:45] wrong thing

[00:50:46] and like get

[00:50:47] through it

[00:50:48] and like have

[00:50:49] the impact

[00:50:49] that I want

[00:50:50] to have

[00:50:50] and just

[00:50:51] like

[00:50:52] I'm a very

[00:50:53] like fight

[00:50:54] through it

[00:50:54] like work

[00:50:55] through it

[00:50:55] type of

[00:50:55] person

[00:50:57] and

[00:50:59] I don't

[00:51:00] like when

[00:51:00] people have

[00:51:01] a problem

[00:51:01] and they're

[00:51:02] like just

[00:51:03] like run

[00:51:04] away from

[00:51:04] the issue

[00:51:04] and they're

[00:51:04] like I

[00:51:05] don't want

[00:51:05] to talk

[00:51:05] about it

[00:51:05] and like

[00:51:06] that's I

[00:51:06] think

[00:51:06] literally

[00:51:07] Harry's

[00:51:08] like the

[00:51:09] fight

[00:51:09] through

[00:51:09] work

[00:51:09] through

[00:51:09] person

[00:51:10] and then

[00:51:10] Lupin's

[00:51:11] the runaway

[00:51:11] person

[00:51:12] and like

[00:51:12] this clash

[00:51:13] has happened

[00:51:14] so many times

[00:51:15] in my life

[00:51:16] but then

[00:51:16] like

[00:51:17] are you

[00:51:17] you're the

[00:51:18] fight person?

[00:51:18] Oh yeah

[00:51:19] like that was

[00:51:19] like so many

[00:51:20] issues with me

[00:51:21] and my

[00:51:21] sisters

[00:51:22] just like

[00:51:23] learning how

[00:51:24] to get along

[00:51:25] was like

[00:51:25] I realized

[00:51:26] I

[00:51:26] like if

[00:51:28] I'm mad

[00:51:28] or I'm

[00:51:28] like

[00:51:29] irritated

[00:51:29] I would

[00:51:30] rather

[00:51:30] like

[00:51:31] get it

[00:51:31] all out

[00:51:31] and like

[00:51:32] I'll be

[00:51:33] very intense

[00:51:34] and like

[00:51:34] very loud

[00:51:35] and like

[00:51:35] whatever

[00:51:36] but I'm

[00:51:37] not like

[00:51:37] actually angry

[00:51:38] at anybody

[00:51:38] because I'm

[00:51:39] like I'm

[00:51:39] angry at

[00:51:39] the problem

[00:51:40] I'm angry

[00:51:40] at like

[00:51:41] the

[00:51:41] like

[00:51:42] whatever's

[00:51:42] happening

[00:51:43] I'm not

[00:51:43] angry at

[00:51:43] you

[00:51:44] but then

[00:51:44] like my

[00:51:45] sister would

[00:51:45] literally

[00:51:46] just like

[00:51:46] go lock

[00:51:47] herself in

[00:51:47] a room

[00:51:48] and I

[00:51:48] would be

[00:51:48] like at

[00:51:49] her door

[00:51:49] like let's

[00:51:50] freaking

[00:51:50] talk about

[00:51:51] this

[00:51:59] like

[00:52:00] people

[00:52:00] appreciate

[00:52:00] space

[00:52:01] instead

[00:52:01] of like

[00:52:02] because

[00:52:02] like

[00:52:02] the

[00:52:02] facing

[00:52:03] the

[00:52:03] problems

[00:52:03] like

[00:52:04] very

[00:52:04] intimidating

[00:52:04] to some

[00:52:05] people

[00:52:05] but

[00:52:05] I

[00:52:06] don't know

[00:52:06] I guess

[00:52:07] you learned

[00:52:07] to let it

[00:52:07] go

[00:52:08] on my

[00:52:08] part

[00:52:09] but we're

[00:52:09] friends now

[00:52:11] usually those

[00:52:12] things work out

[00:52:12] but

[00:52:13] yeah

[00:52:14] you gotta

[00:52:14] find the

[00:52:15] healthy

[00:52:15] balance

[00:52:15] between

[00:52:15] not

[00:52:16] running away

[00:52:16] from all

[00:52:17] your

[00:52:17] problems

[00:52:17] and not

[00:52:19] confronting

[00:52:19] your problems

[00:52:20] immediately

[00:52:20] I still feel

[00:52:21] like Harry

[00:52:21] was a little

[00:52:22] bit on the

[00:52:22] attack of

[00:52:23] Lupin

[00:52:23] though

[00:52:24] instead of

[00:52:24] like

[00:52:24] facing

[00:52:26] the issue

[00:52:27] and like

[00:52:27] coming up

[00:52:28] with a

[00:52:28] solution

[00:52:29] Harry

[00:52:30] is very

[00:52:30] rash

[00:52:30] he could

[00:52:30] have done

[00:52:31] this a

[00:52:31] different

[00:52:31] way

[00:52:31] been a bit

[00:52:32] more tactful

[00:52:33] in it

[00:52:33] yeah

[00:52:34] but

[00:52:34] he achieved

[00:52:35] the desired

[00:52:36] outcome

[00:52:37] he did

[00:52:39] and there

[00:52:40] was

[00:52:41] a line

[00:52:42] of

[00:52:43] something

[00:52:44] like

[00:52:45] how would

[00:52:46] James have

[00:52:49] thought about

[00:52:49] him insulting

[00:52:50] his friend

[00:52:51] like that

[00:52:51] it's like

[00:52:53] ooh

[00:52:53] I don't think

[00:52:54] James would

[00:52:55] have liked

[00:52:55] that

[00:52:56] yeah

[00:52:56] the way he

[00:52:57] handled it

[00:52:59] I want to

[00:53:00] find that

[00:53:00] line

[00:53:02] don't get

[00:53:03] me wrong

[00:53:04] I kind

[00:53:05] of love

[00:53:06] because

[00:53:10] Harry is

[00:53:11] like learning

[00:53:12] who his

[00:53:12] father is

[00:53:12] a little bit

[00:53:13] more

[00:53:17] and I

[00:53:18] don't know

[00:53:18] maybe

[00:53:23] maybe I'm

[00:53:24] wrong on

[00:53:24] that

[00:53:24] because I

[00:53:25] don't have

[00:53:25] the highest

[00:53:26] opinion of

[00:53:26] James

[00:53:26] so maybe

[00:53:28] Harry is

[00:53:29] just like

[00:53:29] putting the

[00:53:29] ideal version

[00:53:30] of who he

[00:53:30] thinks James

[00:53:31] is here

[00:53:32] rather than

[00:53:33] yeah

[00:53:34] would James

[00:53:35] have backed

[00:53:35] Harry

[00:53:36] in what

[00:53:37] he had

[00:53:37] said to

[00:53:37] Lupin

[00:53:37] or would

[00:53:38] he have

[00:53:38] been angry

[00:53:38] at how

[00:53:39] his son

[00:53:39] had treated

[00:53:39] his old

[00:53:40] friend

[00:53:40] yeah

[00:53:40] and he

[00:53:41] doesn't

[00:53:42] ever think

[00:53:42] about like

[00:53:43] how would

[00:53:43] my parents

[00:53:43] think of

[00:53:44] me right

[00:53:44] now

[00:53:44] yeah

[00:53:45] like he's

[00:53:45] very separate

[00:53:46] from them

[00:53:47] yep

[00:53:49] but I don't

[00:53:50] think he

[00:53:50] would have

[00:53:50] liked it

[00:53:52] because I

[00:53:52] feel like

[00:53:53] they have

[00:53:53] a the

[00:53:55] marauder

[00:53:55] people like

[00:53:56] they have a

[00:53:57] very strong

[00:53:58] brotherhood

[00:53:58] and I feel

[00:53:59] like there's

[00:54:00] like you stand

[00:54:01] up for each

[00:54:02] other to the

[00:54:02] death

[00:54:04] so I

[00:54:04] think you

[00:54:05] would have

[00:54:05] been pissed

[00:54:05] yeah I

[00:54:08] think so

[00:54:09] it's a good

[00:54:10] question it's a

[00:54:11] good chapter

[00:54:11] though very

[00:54:13] good chapter

[00:54:13] yeah I

[00:54:13] really like

[00:54:14] this chapter

[00:54:15] in the end

[00:54:16] you like go

[00:54:16] to loving

[00:54:17] creature

[00:54:17] because he's

[00:54:17] like got

[00:54:19] a got a

[00:54:20] a pan

[00:54:21] he's like

[00:54:22] hammering

[00:54:23] one dungus

[00:54:25] because

[00:54:26] yeah perhaps

[00:54:27] just one more

[00:54:28] master Harry

[00:54:28] for luck

[00:54:29] Ron laughed

[00:54:29] we need him

[00:54:30] conscious creature

[00:54:31] but if he

[00:54:32] needs

[00:54:32] persuading

[00:54:32] you can do

[00:54:34] the honor

[00:54:34] said Harry

[00:54:37] it's so

[00:54:37] great

[00:54:39] and

[00:54:40] umbridge

[00:54:40] appears

[00:54:41] in this

[00:54:41] one right

[00:54:43] is that

[00:54:44] this chapter

[00:54:45] I think

[00:54:45] that's next

[00:54:46] I want to

[00:54:47] say

[00:54:48] maybe it's

[00:54:49] this one

[00:54:49] 12th

[00:54:52] oh well

[00:54:53] whenever

[00:54:53] mundungus

[00:54:54] appears

[00:54:56] I think

[00:54:56] it's actually

[00:54:57] this one

[00:54:57] yeah

[00:54:57] the end

[00:54:58] of this

[00:54:58] one

[00:55:00] yeah

[00:55:01] little woman

[00:55:01] bow on top

[00:55:02] her head

[00:55:04] look like a

[00:55:05] toad

[00:55:05] I was

[00:55:06] screaming

[00:55:07] right

[00:55:08] I am so

[00:55:09] mad she's

[00:55:10] back

[00:55:10] and I'm like

[00:55:11] is that her

[00:55:11] actual job

[00:55:12] like to go

[00:55:14] around to

[00:55:14] everyone and

[00:55:15] do that or

[00:55:16] does umbridge

[00:55:17] know there's

[00:55:17] horcruxes

[00:55:18] somehow

[00:55:19] because the

[00:55:20] options are

[00:55:21] umbridge knows

[00:55:22] there's horcruxes

[00:55:23] or umbridge

[00:55:24] is doing

[00:55:24] this to

[00:55:25] everybody

[00:55:25] all day

[00:55:25] and that's

[00:55:26] your full

[00:55:26] time job

[00:55:27] is to

[00:55:27] like

[00:55:29] accost

[00:55:29] people

[00:55:30] yeah

[00:55:31] and then

[00:55:31] she just

[00:55:32] thought this

[00:55:32] locket was

[00:55:33] pretty and

[00:55:33] she wanted

[00:55:33] it

[00:55:34] yep

[00:55:34] you think

[00:55:35] it's that

[00:55:36] I think

[00:55:37] uh

[00:55:37] I think

[00:55:37] she's

[00:55:38] reprehensible

[00:55:38] she is

[00:55:39] I think

[00:55:40] her motive

[00:55:41] is

[00:55:42] I think

[00:55:43] she uses

[00:55:43] a lot

[00:55:44] to her

[00:55:44] her

[00:55:44] own

[00:55:44] advantage

[00:55:46] yeah

[00:55:46] um

[00:55:49] she confiscates

[00:55:50] items

[00:55:50] and then

[00:55:51] she keeps

[00:55:51] them

[00:55:52] like

[00:55:53] the

[00:55:53] equivalent

[00:55:53] of this

[00:55:54] is like

[00:55:54] insider

[00:55:54] trading

[00:55:55] I don't

[00:55:56] want to

[00:55:56] compare

[00:55:56] does Mr. Weasley

[00:55:57] do that

[00:55:58] yeah

[00:55:59] there's

[00:56:01] she does

[00:56:02] I feel like

[00:56:03] there's a

[00:56:03] difference

[00:56:05] because you

[00:56:06] like Mr. Weasley

[00:56:06] I like Mr. Weasley

[00:56:07] and I hatebridge

[00:56:09] trading but

[00:56:09] that is the

[00:56:10] only reason no

[00:56:11] I think uh

[00:56:12] Mr. Weasley is

[00:56:13] doing this um

[00:56:15] ah

[00:56:16] yeah

[00:56:21] that's a

[00:56:22] that's a

[00:56:22] phenomenal point

[00:56:24] cause like

[00:56:25] if you didn't

[00:56:26] already know

[00:56:26] she was a bitch

[00:56:27] from like

[00:56:28] the beginning

[00:56:28] you wouldn't

[00:56:29] really think

[00:56:30] that it's

[00:56:31] bad that

[00:56:31] she's keeping

[00:56:32] a locket

[00:56:32] cause Mr. Weasley

[00:56:33] does that

[00:56:33] to stuff

[00:56:34] all the time

[00:56:35] yeah

[00:56:36] so like

[00:56:36] if you took

[00:56:37] just this

[00:56:38] section of

[00:56:38] the story

[00:56:39] you would be

[00:56:40] like oh

[00:56:41] I guess

[00:56:41] like Ministry

[00:56:42] of Magic

[00:56:42] people like

[00:56:43] have a little

[00:56:44] superiority

[00:56:44] thing that do

[00:56:45] that

[00:56:46] but it's

[00:56:46] just cause

[00:56:47] you know

[00:56:47] both of their

[00:56:48] previous stories

[00:56:48] I'm with you

[00:56:50] I don't think

[00:56:50] we need to be

[00:56:51] consistent

[00:56:51] we can't hate

[00:56:52] Umbridge

[00:56:53] but

[00:56:54] yeah

[00:56:54] perfect

[00:56:55] perfect

[00:56:55] I also think

[00:56:56] Mr. Weasley

[00:56:56] is doing this

[00:56:57] with items

[00:56:57] already confiscated

[00:56:58] maybe he has

[00:56:59] like a rule

[00:56:59] that he doesn't

[00:57:00] take his own

[00:57:01] confiscated items

[00:57:02] but they have

[00:57:02] like a bin

[00:57:03] and he goes

[00:57:03] through them

[00:57:04] and he takes

[00:57:05] whatever he

[00:57:05] wants out

[00:57:06] after that

[00:57:06] Umbridge

[00:57:07] seems to

[00:57:07] like something

[00:57:08] and confiscate

[00:57:09] it for the

[00:57:09] reason that

[00:57:10] she wants

[00:57:10] that

[00:57:20] justification

[00:57:20] she's like

[00:57:21] above the

[00:57:21] law

[00:57:21] or she

[00:57:22] like

[00:57:22] yeah

[00:57:22] she thinks

[00:57:23] she's

[00:57:23] or no

[00:57:23] she uses

[00:57:23] a lot

[00:57:24] around

[00:57:24] advantage

[00:57:24] okay

[00:57:25] and then

[00:57:25] Mr. Weasley

[00:57:26] rewrites the

[00:57:27] law so there's

[00:57:27] purposeful

[00:57:28] loopholes

[00:57:28] for him

[00:57:29] that's a great

[00:57:30] point

[00:57:31] that's a great

[00:57:31] point

[00:57:32] yeah

[00:57:32] yeah

[00:57:33] he has

[00:57:33] the loopholes

[00:57:34] in there

[00:57:34] so he can

[00:57:34] kind of do

[00:57:35] whatever he

[00:57:35] wants

[00:57:36] both of them

[00:57:37] are not

[00:57:37] it's not

[00:57:38] ideal

[00:57:38] parallel

[00:57:38] characters

[00:57:39] yeah

[00:57:39] honestly

[00:57:40] Mr. Weasley's

[00:57:41] loopholes

[00:57:42] in this law

[00:57:44] are probably

[00:57:45] what make

[00:57:45] Umbridge

[00:57:48] do

[00:57:48] this

[00:57:50] because she's

[00:57:51] probably

[00:57:51] she's not

[00:57:51] going

[00:57:51] because the

[00:57:52] law for

[00:57:53] her is it

[00:57:54] um

[00:57:55] but she like

[00:57:56] uses the

[00:57:57] law to her

[00:57:57] own advantage

[00:57:58] she would

[00:57:59] I don't think

[00:57:59] she would

[00:57:59] ever go

[00:58:00] outside of

[00:58:00] the law

[00:58:00] she again

[00:58:01] reminds me

[00:58:02] of a lot

[00:58:02] of people

[00:58:03] like I

[00:58:03] think the

[00:58:04] equivalent

[00:58:04] is like

[00:58:04] insider

[00:58:04] trading

[00:58:06] she reminds

[00:58:07] me

[00:58:09] of a one

[00:58:11] uh

[00:58:14] someone in

[00:58:15] our government

[00:58:17] I think I know

[00:58:19] who's the

[00:58:20] greatest insider

[00:58:21] trader of

[00:58:21] all time

[00:58:22] and she

[00:58:23] was up

[00:58:25] like 45%

[00:58:27] last year

[00:58:27] in her

[00:58:28] trades

[00:58:29] and there's

[00:58:30] lots of

[00:58:31] websites right

[00:58:32] now

[00:58:32] devoted to

[00:58:33] literally like

[00:58:35] marking her

[00:58:36] trades

[00:58:36] and like

[00:58:36] tracking what

[00:58:37] she does

[00:58:38] so that other

[00:58:38] people can do

[00:58:39] it and other

[00:58:39] people can make

[00:58:40] the same money

[00:58:40] that she's

[00:58:41] making

[00:58:41] she's making

[00:58:42] yeah

[00:58:43] millions

[00:58:44] it's disgusting

[00:58:46] and she's

[00:58:47] using it

[00:58:47] to her

[00:58:48] head

[00:58:48] she's on

[00:58:48] all these

[00:58:49] congressional

[00:58:49] hearings

[00:58:49] and she's

[00:58:50] like using

[00:58:50] that information

[00:58:51] in order to

[00:58:52] invest in

[00:58:53] whatever stock

[00:58:54] that she wants

[00:58:54] to invest

[00:58:55] in

[00:58:55] it's ridiculous

[00:58:58] yep

[00:58:59] anyway

[00:59:00] I'll get

[00:59:01] off my

[00:59:01] soapbox

[00:59:02] chapter 12

[00:59:03] is magic

[00:59:04] as might

[00:59:06] this one

[00:59:10] is their

[00:59:11] plan

[00:59:11] to get

[00:59:12] into the

[00:59:12] ministry

[00:59:15] why does

[00:59:15] the writing

[00:59:16] shift in

[00:59:17] this like

[00:59:17] it's not

[00:59:18] Harry's

[00:59:19] perspective

[00:59:20] it feels

[00:59:20] like the

[00:59:21] start of

[00:59:21] a book

[00:59:23] as August

[00:59:24] wore on

[00:59:25] the square

[00:59:25] of unkept

[00:59:26] grass in

[00:59:26] the middle

[00:59:26] of Grimlo

[00:59:27] plays

[00:59:27] shriveled

[00:59:28] in the

[00:59:28] sun

[00:59:28] until it

[00:59:29] was a

[00:59:29] brittle

[00:59:29] and

[00:59:30] whatever

[00:59:30] and

[00:59:31] brown

[00:59:32] like

[00:59:33] the writing

[00:59:34] was like

[00:59:34] boom

[00:59:34] all of a sudden

[00:59:35] it was so

[00:59:35] different

[00:59:37] because

[00:59:37] it's a

[00:59:38] passage of

[00:59:39] time writing

[00:59:39] so she

[00:59:40] has to

[00:59:40] show that

[00:59:40] they've

[00:59:40] been there

[00:59:41] for a

[00:59:43] little bit

[00:59:43] of time

[00:59:44] so there's

[00:59:45] going to be

[00:59:46] weird time

[00:59:47] jumps in

[00:59:47] this book

[00:59:47] that are

[00:59:49] going to be

[00:59:49] really unexpected

[00:59:50] too like

[00:59:50] there's one

[00:59:51] in particular

[00:59:51] that happens

[00:59:52] that you're

[00:59:52] like wait

[00:59:53] how long

[00:59:54] was this

[00:59:54] chapter

[00:59:55] and it's

[00:59:56] literally

[00:59:56] like three

[00:59:57] months

[00:59:57] and you

[00:59:58] like it

[00:59:58] just passes

[00:59:59] over super

[00:59:59] quick

[01:00:01] camping

[01:00:02] pretty much

[01:00:03] yeah

[01:00:04] so the

[01:00:05] time

[01:00:06] jumps

[01:00:06] this is

[01:00:06] one of

[01:00:06] those

[01:00:07] time

[01:00:07] jumps

[01:00:07] in there

[01:00:07] where she

[01:00:08] didn't

[01:00:08] she's

[01:00:09] like

[01:00:09] yeah

[01:00:10] it feels

[01:00:11] like the

[01:00:11] start of

[01:00:11] another

[01:00:11] book

[01:00:11] but she's

[01:00:12] just kind

[01:00:12] of putting

[01:00:13] in something

[01:00:14] that she can

[01:00:14] like have

[01:00:14] some kind

[01:00:15] of time

[01:00:15] lapse

[01:00:16] and you

[01:00:17] can see

[01:00:17] that there's

[01:00:18] some time

[01:00:19] that's gone

[01:00:20] and then

[01:00:21] you're back

[01:00:22] in Harry's

[01:00:22] head for

[01:00:23] the rest

[01:00:23] of the

[01:00:23] chapter

[01:00:24] this chapter

[01:00:25] I really

[01:00:25] feel like

[01:00:26] did not

[01:00:26] sink into

[01:00:27] me

[01:00:27] because I

[01:00:27] was kind

[01:00:28] of getting

[01:00:28] antsy

[01:00:28] of like

[01:00:29] how long

[01:00:29] I was reading

[01:00:30] for but

[01:00:31] they basically

[01:00:33] like break

[01:00:34] into the

[01:00:34] ministry

[01:00:35] again

[01:00:37] so they're

[01:00:38] doing like

[01:00:39] recon missions

[01:00:41] so yeah

[01:00:41] they're like

[01:00:42] polyjuicing

[01:00:42] where they're

[01:00:43] going under

[01:00:43] the invisibility

[01:00:44] cloak

[01:00:44] and they're

[01:00:45] just doing

[01:00:45] recon missions

[01:00:46] for the

[01:00:47] ministry of

[01:00:47] magic to

[01:00:48] see like

[01:00:48] what's going

[01:00:48] on and

[01:00:49] how they

[01:00:50] can infiltrate

[01:00:50] the ministry

[01:00:51] and if they

[01:00:51] can see

[01:00:51] Umbridge

[01:00:52] or like

[01:00:52] how they

[01:00:52] can

[01:00:53] they're like

[01:00:53] planning and

[01:00:54] plotting to

[01:00:54] go meet

[01:00:55] Umbridge

[01:00:55] and take

[01:00:56] the locket

[01:00:58] assuming

[01:00:58] she still

[01:00:59] has it

[01:00:59] assuming

[01:01:00] she still

[01:01:00] has it

[01:01:00] they don't

[01:01:00] even know

[01:01:01] she still

[01:01:01] has it

[01:01:01] you can't

[01:01:02] just go

[01:01:03] in the

[01:01:03] invisibility

[01:01:04] cloak

[01:01:04] and

[01:01:04] um

[01:01:06] Accio

[01:01:06] the locket

[01:01:07] that's a

[01:01:09] that's a good

[01:01:10] question

[01:01:10] um

[01:01:11] the locket

[01:01:14] so

[01:01:16] harry tried

[01:01:17] to Accio

[01:01:17] something

[01:01:19] Accio

[01:01:19] the Accio

[01:01:20] Horcrux

[01:01:20] before

[01:01:21] and it

[01:01:22] didn't

[01:01:22] work

[01:01:22] and it

[01:01:23] wasn't

[01:01:23] even a

[01:01:23] Horcrux

[01:01:23] it wasn't

[01:01:24] it was

[01:01:24] just like

[01:01:24] a normal

[01:01:24] object

[01:01:25] they tried

[01:01:25] with the

[01:01:25] locket

[01:01:26] too

[01:01:26] yeah

[01:01:27] and nothing

[01:01:28] happened

[01:01:28] so

[01:01:29] you probably

[01:01:30] can't like

[01:01:31] Accio

[01:01:31] some kind

[01:01:32] of like

[01:01:33] seriously

[01:01:33] powerful

[01:01:33] magical

[01:01:34] object

[01:01:34] so they

[01:01:35] couldn't

[01:01:35] do

[01:01:35] that

[01:01:36] and see

[01:01:36] even

[01:01:37] if they

[01:01:37] go into

[01:01:37] the

[01:01:37] ministry

[01:01:38] like

[01:01:38] with

[01:01:38] the

[01:01:39] there's

[01:01:40] got

[01:01:40] to be

[01:01:42] like

[01:01:42] the

[01:01:42] recon

[01:01:42] that

[01:01:43] they're

[01:01:43] doing

[01:01:43] they

[01:01:43] have

[01:01:43] to

[01:01:43] figure

[01:01:44] out

[01:01:44] if

[01:01:44] it's

[01:01:44] like

[01:01:44] a

[01:01:45] viable

[01:01:45] path

[01:01:46] for

[01:01:46] them

[01:01:46] to

[01:02:39] but

[01:02:40] if

[01:02:41] if

[01:02:41] you

[01:02:41] just

[01:02:41] find

[01:02:42] like

[01:02:42] one

[01:02:42] random

[01:02:43] old

[01:02:43] wizard

[01:02:43] lady

[01:02:44] or

[01:02:44] old

[01:02:45] wizard

[01:02:45] man

[01:02:46] and

[01:02:47] you

[01:02:47] can

[01:02:47] just

[01:02:47] like

[01:02:47] walk

[01:02:48] in

[01:02:48] you're

[01:02:48] totally

[01:02:48] under

[01:02:49] the

[01:02:49] radar

[01:02:49] yeah

[01:02:50] like

[01:02:50] the

[01:02:51] I don't

[01:02:51] know

[01:02:51] who

[01:02:51] Harry

[01:02:52] is

[01:02:52] but

[01:02:52] he's

[01:02:52] like

[01:02:52] some

[01:02:53] big

[01:02:53] jack

[01:02:53] dude

[01:02:54] that

[01:02:54] like

[01:02:54] is

[01:02:55] apparently

[01:02:55] a death

[01:02:55] eater

[01:02:56] I

[01:03:10] guys

[01:03:10] if

[01:03:10] you're

[01:03:11] cleaning

[01:03:11] it

[01:03:11] and

[01:03:11] like

[01:03:12] look

[01:03:12] for

[01:03:12] the

[01:03:12] office

[01:03:13] lock

[01:03:13] it

[01:03:13] like

[01:03:14] something

[01:03:14] basic

[01:03:14] and

[01:03:15] that

[01:03:15] doesn't

[01:03:16] need

[01:03:16] a

[01:03:16] whole

[01:03:40] lot

[01:03:41] yeah

[01:03:42] I just

[01:03:43] hit her

[01:03:43] with an

[01:03:43] avada

[01:03:43] kedavra

[01:03:45] I know

[01:03:46] right

[01:03:47] just drop

[01:03:47] her dead

[01:03:48] but what

[01:03:49] if she's

[01:03:49] not

[01:03:49] what if

[01:03:50] she doesn't

[01:03:50] they need

[01:03:50] information

[01:03:51] so they

[01:03:51] gotta take

[01:03:52] her alive

[01:03:53] why

[01:03:54] what does

[01:03:54] she have

[01:03:55] the locket

[01:03:56] what if

[01:03:56] she doesn't

[01:03:56] have the

[01:03:56] locket

[01:03:57] and gave

[01:03:57] it up

[01:03:57] and they

[01:03:58] kill her

[01:03:59] and then

[01:03:59] all of a

[01:04:00] sudden

[01:04:00] they don't

[01:04:00] know where

[01:04:01] the locket

[01:04:01] is

[01:04:01] it's

[01:04:02] cold

[01:04:04] that's

[01:04:04] true

[01:04:06] she

[01:04:06] doesn't

[01:04:06] seem like

[01:04:07] the kind

[01:04:07] of person

[01:04:07] who would

[01:04:07] give up

[01:04:08] the locket

[01:04:08] to be

[01:04:08] honest

[01:04:10] you could

[01:04:11] just sell

[01:04:11] it

[01:04:11] like offer

[01:04:13] her enough

[01:04:13] money

[01:04:14] yeah

[01:04:14] but yeah

[01:04:15] I think

[01:04:15] as soon

[01:04:16] as you're

[01:04:16] like I

[01:04:16] want the

[01:04:17] locket

[01:04:17] she's gonna

[01:04:18] be like why

[01:04:18] do you

[01:04:19] want the

[01:04:19] locket

[01:04:19] what's

[01:04:20] the locket

[01:04:20] worth

[01:04:20] yeah

[01:04:21] but maybe

[01:04:22] she knows

[01:04:22] or maybe

[01:04:23] she's obsessed

[01:04:23] with Slytherin

[01:04:25] because is

[01:04:26] this is the

[01:04:27] Slytherin's

[01:04:27] air locket

[01:04:28] thing right

[01:04:29] yep

[01:04:31] um

[01:04:32] do you think

[01:04:33] that she

[01:04:33] knows what

[01:04:34] this object

[01:04:34] is

[01:04:36] probably

[01:04:36] she's probably

[01:04:37] like a freak

[01:04:38] for the

[01:04:38] Slytherin's

[01:04:39] like

[01:04:39] yeah

[01:04:40] kiss up

[01:04:41] to all

[01:04:41] of them

[01:04:42] yeah

[01:04:42] because she's

[01:04:42] so evil

[01:04:44] yeah I feel

[01:04:45] like she would

[01:04:46] know or she's

[01:04:47] related to that

[01:04:48] other lady

[01:04:48] that like

[01:04:49] originally uh

[01:04:51] Tom Riddle

[01:04:51] stole it from

[01:04:52] ooh

[01:04:53] and that's

[01:04:54] her like

[01:04:54] grandma

[01:04:55] huh

[01:04:56] hold on

[01:04:58] because they

[01:04:59] low-key seem

[01:05:00] similar to me

[01:05:01] so maybe she's

[01:05:04] like oh this is

[01:05:05] my grandmother's

[01:05:05] locket

[01:05:06] and then

[01:05:07] maybe she

[01:05:08] doesn't realize

[01:05:08] it's Slytherin

[01:05:09] and she

[01:05:09] thinks it's

[01:05:10] like her

[01:05:10] own

[01:05:13] okay so

[01:05:13] she is

[01:05:13] related to

[01:05:14] the Selwyn's

[01:05:15] not the

[01:05:16] uh

[01:05:18] smiths

[01:05:19] there was

[01:05:20] like something

[01:05:20] in my brain

[01:05:21] that I was

[01:05:21] like bells

[01:05:22] and whistles

[01:05:22] were going

[01:05:22] off being

[01:05:23] like was

[01:05:24] she related

[01:05:24] to the

[01:05:25] smiths and

[01:05:25] that's why

[01:05:25] she thought

[01:05:26] it was

[01:05:26] like hers

[01:05:27] but

[01:05:28] it's not

[01:05:30] she just

[01:05:31] has this

[01:05:31] object probably

[01:05:31] she likes

[01:05:32] it

[01:05:41] yeah

[01:05:43] there's like a

[01:05:43] Slytherin emblem

[01:05:44] on this thing

[01:05:45] or no

[01:05:46] yep

[01:05:47] there's a snake

[01:05:48] there's a serpent

[01:05:48] on it

[01:05:49] yeah

[01:05:50] what house is

[01:05:51] she

[01:05:52] she go to

[01:05:53] Hogwarts

[01:05:58] why don't you

[01:05:59] know all

[01:05:59] this

[01:06:00] you're supposed

[01:06:00] to know

[01:06:01] everything

[01:06:03] that makes

[01:06:04] sense

[01:06:05] super ambitious

[01:06:05] yeah that makes

[01:06:06] sense I was

[01:06:06] gonna say

[01:06:06] Ravenclaw

[01:06:07] potentially but

[01:06:08] she's not

[01:06:09] smart enough to

[01:06:10] be in Ravenclaw

[01:06:10] so she's in

[01:06:13] your house

[01:06:13] sorry

[01:06:14] sorry about

[01:06:14] that

[01:06:16] oh well

[01:06:17] aren't we all

[01:06:18] um there's something

[01:06:19] that happens at the

[01:06:20] beginning of this

[01:06:20] chapter as well

[01:06:21] that they uh

[01:06:22] are talking with

[01:06:23] Phineas Nigellus

[01:06:24] and uh

[01:06:24] Hermione

[01:06:26] um

[01:06:27] throws the bag

[01:06:28] into the kitchen

[01:06:29] table with the

[01:06:29] usual

[01:06:30] wait what

[01:06:31] she throws

[01:06:32] her bag

[01:06:32] onto the

[01:06:33] kitchen table

[01:06:33] with the

[01:06:34] usual sonorous

[01:06:35] clanking

[01:06:36] crash

[01:06:36] sorry said

[01:06:37] Ron

[01:06:37] but Harry

[01:06:38] understood

[01:06:38] the painted

[01:06:39] image of

[01:06:39] Phineas Nigellus

[01:06:40] Black was able

[01:06:41] to flip between

[01:06:41] his portrait

[01:06:42] and grim old

[01:06:42] place

[01:06:43] and the one

[01:06:44] that hung

[01:06:44] in the head

[01:06:44] master's

[01:06:45] office at

[01:06:45] Hogwarts

[01:06:46] the circular

[01:06:47] tower top

[01:06:47] room where

[01:06:48] Snape was no

[01:06:49] doubt sitting

[01:06:49] right now

[01:06:49] in triumphant

[01:06:50] possession of

[01:06:51] Dumbledore's

[01:06:51] collection of

[01:06:52] delicate silver

[01:06:53] magical instruments

[01:06:54] the stone

[01:06:54] pensive

[01:06:55] and the

[01:06:55] sorting hat

[01:06:56] unless it

[01:06:56] had been

[01:06:57] moved somewhere

[01:06:57] else the

[01:06:58] sword of

[01:06:58] Gryffindor

[01:06:58] do you

[01:06:59] think that

[01:07:00] Snape has

[01:07:00] used the

[01:07:02] portrait

[01:07:02] to spy on

[01:07:03] them

[01:07:05] is that how

[01:07:06] they were

[01:07:06] found

[01:07:07] I don't think

[01:07:11] the order

[01:07:12] was meeting

[01:07:12] in

[01:07:13] Grimoire

[01:07:14] place at

[01:07:14] that point

[01:07:15] though right

[01:07:17] no but

[01:07:18] so

[01:07:18] so

[01:07:19] the beaded

[01:07:20] bag

[01:07:20] the portrait

[01:07:21] of Phineas

[01:07:22] Nigellus

[01:07:25] oh yeah

[01:07:25] yeah yeah

[01:07:26] that's a

[01:07:26] that's a good

[01:07:26] point

[01:07:27] it was

[01:07:28] she

[01:07:28] she takes

[01:07:29] it and she

[01:07:29] puts it in

[01:07:30] her bag

[01:07:30] but it

[01:07:30] wasn't there

[01:07:31] to begin

[01:07:31] with

[01:07:31] it was in

[01:07:32] 12 Grimoire

[01:07:32] place

[01:07:33] yeah

[01:07:33] but do

[01:07:34] you think

[01:07:34] that

[01:07:35] Sirius

[01:07:35] is

[01:07:35] uh

[01:07:37] Snape

[01:07:37] is gonna

[01:07:37] spy on

[01:07:38] them

[01:07:38] with this

[01:07:41] not now

[01:07:42] that it's

[01:07:43] in the bag

[01:07:43] but do you

[01:07:44] think that

[01:07:45] like Hermione's

[01:07:46] precautions are

[01:07:46] good enough

[01:07:47] yeah I think

[01:07:47] that was a

[01:07:48] really great

[01:07:48] idea

[01:07:49] love that

[01:07:50] okay

[01:07:50] but I feel

[01:07:51] like other

[01:07:51] people have

[01:07:52] definitely

[01:07:52] spied in

[01:07:53] there like

[01:07:53] Dumbledore

[01:07:54] was using

[01:07:54] that all

[01:07:54] the time

[01:07:55] yeah right

[01:07:57] so maybe

[01:07:58] McGonagall

[01:07:59] communicated

[01:07:59] really fast

[01:08:00] when she

[01:08:01] was head

[01:08:01] master for

[01:08:03] like a

[01:08:04] week

[01:08:05] and then

[01:08:06] yeah I mean

[01:08:07] I just don't

[01:08:07] think the

[01:08:08] timeline lines

[01:08:09] up there

[01:08:10] I don't know

[01:08:11] where the

[01:08:11] order was

[01:08:12] when they

[01:08:12] were planning

[01:08:12] the escape

[01:08:13] with the

[01:08:14] seven potters

[01:08:16] but they

[01:08:17] I feel like

[01:08:18] definitely

[01:08:18] would have

[01:08:18] thought of

[01:08:19] that

[01:08:21] yeah

[01:08:23] whatever

[01:08:26] their plans

[01:08:27] are for

[01:08:28] anything

[01:08:28] I feel like

[01:08:28] their plans

[01:08:29] just never

[01:08:29] really work

[01:08:30] out that well

[01:08:31] they don't

[01:08:31] have great

[01:08:32] plans to be

[01:08:32] honest

[01:08:35] I feel like

[01:08:35] their plans

[01:08:36] are too big

[01:08:37] like there's

[01:08:37] too many

[01:08:37] people involved

[01:08:38] yeah

[01:08:39] you need a lot

[01:08:40] of people

[01:08:40] and you need

[01:08:40] a lot of

[01:08:41] coverage

[01:08:41] of different

[01:08:42] places

[01:08:43] but

[01:08:44] at some

[01:08:45] point

[01:08:45] their plans

[01:08:46] are for

[01:08:46] like mass

[01:08:47] wars

[01:08:47] rather than

[01:08:48] like

[01:08:48] stop bringing

[01:08:49] so many

[01:08:49] people

[01:08:50] do like

[01:08:50] small

[01:08:51] little

[01:08:51] missions

[01:08:53] yeah like

[01:08:53] even with

[01:08:54] what you

[01:08:54] were saying

[01:08:55] before the

[01:08:55] three of

[01:08:55] them shouldn't

[01:08:56] be going

[01:08:56] it should

[01:08:56] just be

[01:08:56] one of

[01:08:57] them

[01:08:58] and they

[01:08:58] shouldn't

[01:08:59] like

[01:08:59] go as

[01:09:00] very innocuous

[01:09:01] people

[01:09:01] like very

[01:09:02] innocuous

[01:09:03] the right

[01:09:03] word

[01:09:03] what does

[01:09:03] innocuous

[01:09:04] mean

[01:09:04] no idea

[01:09:07] kentaya

[01:09:08] very like

[01:09:10] innocuous

[01:09:11] i think

[01:09:12] it's like

[01:09:16] yeah not

[01:09:17] harmful or

[01:09:17] offensive

[01:09:18] go as

[01:09:18] very

[01:09:18] non-harmful

[01:09:19] and offense

[01:09:20] or non-offensive

[01:09:21] people

[01:09:21] where like

[01:09:22] they're not

[01:09:22] gonna no one's

[01:09:23] gonna get mad

[01:09:24] at them for

[01:09:24] going in or

[01:09:25] like umbridge is

[01:09:25] gonna be

[01:09:26] gonna be

[01:09:26] like oh

[01:09:26] i need

[01:09:26] this

[01:09:26] person

[01:09:27] just go

[01:09:28] in as

[01:09:28] like you

[01:09:28] know

[01:09:29] maintenance

[01:09:29] workers

[01:09:29] and then

[01:09:30] go check

[01:09:30] out

[01:09:30] umbridge's

[01:09:31] office

[01:09:31] then you

[01:09:31] can kind

[01:09:31] of progress

[01:09:32] from there

[01:09:32] it's the same

[01:09:33] thing with the

[01:09:33] other plan that

[01:09:34] they had with

[01:09:34] the seven potters

[01:09:35] yeah they're not

[01:09:36] the greatest

[01:09:36] planners

[01:09:36] i remember being

[01:09:37] like if you

[01:09:38] just kick harry

[01:09:38] out the door

[01:09:39] and tell him

[01:09:39] to run down

[01:09:40] the streets

[01:09:40] like that might

[01:09:41] be a better

[01:09:41] option

[01:09:41] yeah honestly

[01:09:42] but

[01:09:44] they didn't ask

[01:09:45] us so

[01:09:47] we'd have

[01:09:47] better plans

[01:09:48] than them

[01:09:49] for sure

[01:09:49] yeah

[01:09:50] voldemort

[01:09:51] would be long

[01:09:55] i probably

[01:09:56] couldn't even

[01:09:57] apparate at

[01:09:57] this point

[01:09:59] five years

[01:10:00] later

[01:10:00] stop it

[01:10:01] you'd be so

[01:10:02] good you'd be

[01:10:02] the best

[01:10:02] i'd be a great

[01:10:03] wizard

[01:10:03] you'd be the

[01:10:04] best wizard

[01:10:05] i'd get

[01:10:06] everything on

[01:10:07] my first try

[01:10:09] you're a

[01:10:09] slytherin of

[01:10:10] course you'd be

[01:10:10] good

[01:10:11] i think like a

[01:10:12] 50 50

[01:10:14] slytherin

[01:10:14] ravenclaw would

[01:10:15] be like the most

[01:10:16] powerful wizard

[01:10:17] if they came in

[01:10:18] like halves

[01:10:20] okay

[01:10:21] no offense

[01:10:22] to the puffs

[01:10:24] there is

[01:10:25] uh

[01:10:25] one thing

[01:10:26] that everyone

[01:10:27] wants

[01:10:27] maybe not

[01:10:28] more than

[01:10:28] everything else

[01:10:29] but this is

[01:10:29] something that

[01:10:30] gets like

[01:10:30] circulated on

[01:10:31] social media

[01:10:31] every once in

[01:10:32] a while

[01:10:32] and people

[01:10:33] have you

[01:10:33] seen we've

[01:10:34] seen like

[01:10:34] um

[01:10:37] in in

[01:10:40] wizarding history

[01:10:40] you've seen

[01:10:41] villains from

[01:10:42] like every

[01:10:42] side of

[01:10:44] uh

[01:10:44] hogwarts

[01:10:45] houses

[01:10:46] but the one

[01:10:47] that people

[01:10:47] want to see

[01:10:48] the most

[01:10:48] is from

[01:10:49] a hufflepuff

[01:10:50] house

[01:10:51] they want

[01:10:51] to see

[01:10:51] like a

[01:10:51] villain

[01:10:52] who's a

[01:10:52] hufflepuff

[01:10:52] because they

[01:10:54] say the

[01:10:54] loyalty aspect

[01:10:55] of like a

[01:10:55] hufflepuff

[01:10:55] and like how

[01:10:56] the person

[01:10:57] would get

[01:10:57] other people

[01:10:57] on their

[01:10:58] side

[01:10:58] would be

[01:10:58] really

[01:10:59] fascinating

[01:10:59] to watch

[01:11:00] and they

[01:11:01] say that

[01:11:01] that would

[01:11:01] probably be

[01:11:02] the most

[01:11:02] dangerous

[01:11:02] of all

[01:11:04] of the uh

[01:11:05] the villains

[01:11:05] maybe not

[01:11:06] the smartest

[01:11:07] maybe not

[01:11:08] like the uh

[01:11:09] you know

[01:11:10] the most

[01:11:10] powerful

[01:11:11] or best

[01:11:11] wizard

[01:11:12] but that

[01:11:12] person

[01:11:12] would have

[01:11:13] the masses

[01:11:14] on their

[01:11:15] side

[01:11:15] no way

[01:11:16] do that

[01:11:17] as hufflepuff

[01:11:18] quality

[01:11:18] loyalty

[01:11:19] this person

[01:11:20] would be

[01:11:20] loyal

[01:11:22] to the

[01:11:22] day they

[01:11:23] die

[01:11:23] there's a

[01:11:24] character

[01:11:24] right now

[01:11:25] like if

[01:11:26] there's a

[01:11:26] uprising

[01:11:27] like a

[01:11:27] one wizard

[01:11:28] like a

[01:11:28] voldemort

[01:11:28] situation

[01:11:29] so yeah

[01:11:30] so like

[01:11:30] right now

[01:11:31] so even

[01:11:31] i'm saying

[01:11:31] like let's

[01:11:32] go through

[01:11:32] this situation

[01:11:33] this is a

[01:11:33] fun little

[01:11:34] exercise we

[01:11:34] can do

[01:11:36] let's say

[01:11:36] there's a

[01:11:37] villain in

[01:11:38] every single

[01:11:38] house of

[01:11:39] hogwarts

[01:11:39] yeah

[01:11:40] so we've

[01:11:40] seen we're

[01:11:46] i'm gonna

[01:11:46] make a

[01:11:47] house of

[01:11:47] house of

[01:11:48] the dragon

[01:11:48] comparison

[01:11:48] with this

[01:11:49] as well

[01:11:49] in a second

[01:11:50] because i'm

[01:11:51] watching this

[01:11:51] and to me

[01:11:52] there's it

[01:11:53] seems like

[01:11:53] there is

[01:11:54] someone who

[01:11:54] is a

[01:11:54] hufflepuff

[01:11:55] house they're

[01:11:55] not a

[01:11:55] villain they're

[01:11:56] like a good

[01:11:56] character because

[01:11:57] hufflepuff we

[01:11:58] don't produce

[01:11:58] villains we only

[01:11:59] produce good

[01:11:59] characters but

[01:12:02] the way people

[01:12:02] fight for this

[01:12:03] character is next

[01:12:05] to none it

[01:12:05] is in the house

[01:12:06] of dragon yeah

[01:12:07] yeah so but

[01:12:08] let's talk about

[01:12:09] this so

[01:12:09] slytherin if

[01:12:10] the slytherin

[01:12:11] villain was

[01:12:11] defeated what

[01:12:14] is going to

[01:12:14] happen after

[01:12:15] are his followers

[01:12:15] going to

[01:12:16] continue his

[01:12:16] legacy or

[01:12:17] not i see

[01:12:20] where this is

[01:12:21] going no

[01:12:22] nope you're

[01:12:24] right but

[01:12:24] the hufflepuffs

[01:12:25] are it's

[01:12:26] going to

[01:12:27] continue for

[01:12:27] generations so

[01:12:28] even if their

[01:12:29] leader is slain

[01:12:31] that loyalty

[01:12:32] that people were

[01:12:33] attracted to

[01:12:33] this leader by

[01:12:34] is going to

[01:12:35] go and go

[01:12:36] like wildfire

[01:12:37] but loyalty is

[01:12:38] like ignorance

[01:12:39] sometimes but

[01:12:40] it's and it's

[01:12:41] yes 100%

[01:12:43] 100% agreed

[01:12:45] it's ignorance but

[01:12:46] it doesn't matter

[01:12:47] because we're

[01:12:47] loyal to this

[01:12:48] person we don't

[01:12:48] care so in

[01:12:50] that sense you're

[01:12:51] the most powerful

[01:12:52] like force

[01:12:53] just because it's

[01:12:54] like undying

[01:12:54] yeah because the

[01:12:55] villain because

[01:12:56] whoever the

[01:12:57] villain would be

[01:12:57] it wouldn't

[01:12:58] necessarily be so

[01:12:58] much about that

[01:12:59] villain it would

[01:12:59] be about like

[01:13:00] what they it

[01:13:01] would be about

[01:13:02] that villain we

[01:13:02] we just have the

[01:13:03] loyalty for that

[01:13:04] person but if

[01:13:04] that person died

[01:13:05] i'm not saying

[01:13:06] this is when we

[01:13:07] pack it up and

[01:13:08] we don't do

[01:13:08] anything anymore

[01:13:09] i'm saying no

[01:13:09] we fight to

[01:13:10] death for this

[01:13:11] person and

[01:13:12] every single

[01:13:12] person in

[01:13:13] hufflepuff house

[01:13:14] who is attached

[01:13:15] to this villain

[01:13:16] would be like

[01:13:17] another villain

[01:13:18] that you have

[01:13:18] to be we'd

[01:13:19] all be like

[01:13:19] ready to fight

[01:13:21] and ready to

[01:13:22] like give

[01:13:23] everything we

[01:13:23] have even if

[01:13:24] that person's

[01:13:25] dead

[01:13:26] it's very

[01:13:27] unified

[01:13:28] yeah we're a

[01:13:29] unified house

[01:13:29] for sure

[01:13:30] i think like in

[01:13:31] the slytherin's

[01:13:32] case it would

[01:13:33] be just one

[01:13:35] after the next

[01:13:36] of just somebody

[01:13:37] always trying to

[01:13:38] claw to the top

[01:13:39] so then in that

[01:13:40] way i think it

[01:13:41] would be so bad

[01:13:41] because it would

[01:13:42] be like really

[01:13:42] violent people are

[01:13:44] trying to like

[01:13:44] outdo each other

[01:13:45] yeah like if

[01:13:46] we're in like a

[01:13:47] book world and

[01:13:48] people are just

[01:13:48] like killing

[01:13:48] each other all

[01:13:49] the time

[01:13:49] yeah i think

[01:13:50] that would be

[01:13:51] bad for

[01:13:51] slytherins because

[01:13:52] they would just

[01:13:52] like mass murder

[01:13:54] or like just one

[01:13:56] after the next

[01:13:57] going down but

[01:13:57] everybody's on

[01:13:58] their own little

[01:13:58] path instead of

[01:13:59] like all of you

[01:14:00] hufflepuffs marching

[01:14:01] down the same

[01:14:04] path honestly

[01:14:05] badgers

[01:14:06] gryffindor yeah

[01:14:07] dude you don't

[01:14:07] want to mess with

[01:14:08] the badger

[01:14:08] actually those are

[01:14:10] so vicious

[01:14:10] badgers are if

[01:14:12] i would want one

[01:14:12] animal by my side

[01:14:13] in a fight it

[01:14:14] would be a badger

[01:14:14] okay i was

[01:14:16] watching this uh

[01:14:17] this fight between

[01:14:18] five lions and

[01:14:20] one honey badger

[01:14:20] and it was the

[01:14:21] coolest thing i

[01:14:22] was like people

[01:14:23] need to adopt a

[01:14:24] fighting style over

[01:14:25] the badger because

[01:14:26] this thing i have

[01:14:29] like full long

[01:14:31] thoughts about

[01:14:31] this and theories

[01:14:32] about this this is

[01:14:33] the coolest thing i've

[01:14:34] ever seen i'm like

[01:14:34] this typifies again

[01:14:35] even what hufflepuffs

[01:14:36] are about they're

[01:14:38] not you're not the

[01:14:39] greatest planner so

[01:14:39] like when i am

[01:14:41] looking at if i'm

[01:14:42] looking at like an

[01:14:43] mma match and

[01:14:44] there's two people

[01:14:45] fighting there's a

[01:14:46] lot of downtime where

[01:14:47] the people are like

[01:14:48] looking for an in

[01:14:49] and looking for a

[01:14:49] move and it's like

[01:14:51] you're in a boxing

[01:14:51] match you're like

[01:14:52] sitting and waiting

[01:14:53] you block a punch

[01:14:54] you might throw a

[01:14:55] punch then you sit

[01:14:56] and wait for like a

[01:14:56] few seconds and then

[01:14:57] you do the same thing

[01:14:58] you like throw a

[01:14:59] punch the other

[01:15:00] person might block it

[01:15:00] or like you might

[01:15:01] dodge it there's like a

[01:15:02] lot of in between i

[01:15:04] watched the fight the

[01:15:05] other day on uh youtube

[01:15:06] between a honey one

[01:15:08] honey badger and five

[01:15:10] lions and this thing

[01:15:11] there was no downtime

[01:15:13] and it was like the

[01:15:14] lions were running away

[01:15:15] and it was like

[01:15:15] running after them

[01:15:16] what all the lions

[01:15:17] were circled it this

[01:15:18] thing would go and

[01:15:19] bite one of the

[01:15:20] things noses and would

[01:15:22] not hesitate and turn

[01:15:23] around and go after

[01:15:24] another one straight out

[01:15:26] and then like it would

[01:15:27] intimidate that one and

[01:15:28] as soon as that honey

[01:15:29] badger saw it was

[01:15:30] intimidated it would

[01:15:30] turn around and no

[01:15:31] hesitation would go

[01:15:32] after another line it

[01:15:34] was the coolest fighting

[01:15:35] style i've ever seen in

[01:15:36] my life i'm like if

[01:15:37] someone boxes like

[01:15:39] that or like does it

[01:15:40] you can't because you'll

[01:15:41] probably get ruined but

[01:15:42] if you have like a

[01:15:43] honey badger mentality

[01:15:44] where you're just going

[01:15:45] after someone i'm like

[01:15:46] that is hufflepuff house

[01:15:47] as well where if our

[01:15:49] if our villain leader

[01:15:50] if our villain leader

[01:15:52] gets taken over we

[01:15:54] don't care and we're

[01:15:55] going we're still going

[01:15:56] strong we're still gonna

[01:15:57] dominate we're still

[01:15:59] gonna like you know

[01:16:00] oh i'm so proud of

[01:16:02] your bones when you

[01:16:03] watch that i think i

[01:16:05] think uh ravenclaw would

[01:16:06] be a very scary villain

[01:16:08] as well i think a

[01:16:09] gryffindor villain would

[01:16:10] be the easiest one to

[01:16:11] defeat to be completely

[01:16:11] honest they're brave

[01:16:13] gryffindor's like a

[01:16:14] napoleon to me oh yeah

[01:16:16] that's a good one

[01:16:17] actually ravenclaw's

[01:16:18] like a hitler whoa

[01:16:20] and then you're just

[01:16:22] slytherin so you don't

[01:16:23] want to say

[01:16:24] yeah slytherin yeah no

[01:16:26] slytherin is very

[01:16:27] hitlery actually

[01:16:29] maybe um

[01:16:31] hufflepuff is like the

[01:16:33] fruit punch thing

[01:16:35] the what like the mass

[01:16:37] genocide oh yeah

[01:16:38] okay who was that

[01:16:39] again

[01:16:40] the fruit punch mass

[01:16:42] genocide yeah

[01:16:43] or that's not fruit

[01:16:45] punch that's what the

[01:16:45] saying is

[01:16:48] what nation was that

[01:16:51] should we edit this

[01:16:52] out

[01:16:53] no way

[01:16:54] all it's all standing

[01:16:56] um

[01:16:57] yeah what nation is

[01:16:58] that

[01:17:00] i'll find it

[01:17:01] jones town

[01:17:03] drink the kool-aid

[01:17:04] yeah

[01:17:05] yeah the cult of

[01:17:06] jones town

[01:17:07] jones town massacre

[01:17:09] yeah

[01:17:10] that's very hufflepuff

[01:17:12] that is kind of very

[01:17:12] hufflepuff

[01:17:13] we'd be like cults out

[01:17:14] in the woods

[01:17:16] i think house of

[01:17:17] dragon is portraying

[01:17:18] really really well

[01:17:21] um

[01:17:23] the leader might not

[01:17:24] necessarily be a

[01:17:25] hufflepuff i think the

[01:17:26] leader is kind of

[01:17:26] hufflepuff-ish

[01:17:28] but uh

[01:17:29] it's portraying really

[01:17:31] well

[01:17:32] people's love for this

[01:17:33] person and their like

[01:17:35] willingness to die for

[01:17:36] this person

[01:17:37] there's like other

[01:17:38] like houses and like

[01:17:39] groups that are like

[01:17:40] even though we don't

[01:17:43] know everything that's

[01:17:44] happening we're gonna

[01:17:44] fight and die for this

[01:17:45] person because we

[01:17:46] really love this person

[01:17:47] hufflepuffs are

[01:17:48] dangerous dude you

[01:17:49] don't want to mess with

[01:17:49] us

[01:17:50] this is i don't like

[01:17:52] identify with my house

[01:17:53] like that even if i was

[01:17:54] a gryffindor i feel

[01:17:55] like i'm in no man's

[01:17:56] land

[01:17:56] like you can't define

[01:17:58] me

[01:18:00] maybe i'll become a

[01:18:02] leader and all started

[01:18:03] uprising

[01:18:04] there we go i'm

[01:18:06] slytherin i'll be on

[01:18:07] your side

[01:18:08] a hufflepuff you'll be

[01:18:09] on a slytherin side

[01:18:10] that'd be a wild

[01:18:12] combo if you went 2v2

[01:18:14] which houses are to

[01:18:15] going together

[01:18:17] um

[01:18:19] that's a great question

[01:18:20] what do you think

[01:18:26] i'm saying gryffindor

[01:18:27] and the puffs

[01:18:28] yeah

[01:18:29] ravenclaw and

[01:18:30] slytherin

[01:18:31] would whose house

[01:18:32] would you want the

[01:18:33] most

[01:18:35] you're a slytherin

[01:18:36] like who do i want i

[01:18:37] think i would want to

[01:18:38] be in ravenclaw

[01:18:39] so you and that was

[01:18:40] never an option

[01:18:42] i think you're half

[01:18:44] and half

[01:18:45] but i'm supposed to be

[01:18:46] half gryffindor half

[01:18:48] slytherin

[01:18:48] or i was originally

[01:18:50] a gryffindor and now

[01:18:51] i'm just like evil in

[01:18:52] my old age

[01:18:54] yeah there you go

[01:18:56] i don't know i feel

[01:18:57] like i should be a

[01:18:58] hufflepuff but

[01:18:59] i'm not

[01:19:00] definitely not

[01:19:03] there's like huffle

[01:19:04] very hufflepuffy

[01:19:05] aspects of me

[01:19:07] we all have a little

[01:19:08] bit of each house in

[01:19:09] us

[01:19:09] yeah

[01:19:09] i'm a mix

[01:19:10] yeah we're all

[01:19:11] a twist

[01:19:12] we're all a mix

[01:19:15] is that how you

[01:19:15] would do the 2v2

[01:19:17] yeah probably

[01:19:18] i don't know

[01:19:21] that's probably

[01:19:22] naturally how the

[01:19:22] 2v2 would go off

[01:19:24] but i don't know if

[01:19:25] i would want

[01:19:26] gryffindor on my

[01:19:26] side

[01:19:28] i think i would want

[01:19:29] ravenclaw on my

[01:19:30] side

[01:19:32] because we have

[01:19:33] the bronze and

[01:19:34] ravenclaw has the

[01:19:34] brains

[01:19:37] you have the

[01:19:38] bronze

[01:19:38] yeah we're like

[01:19:39] the hufflepuff

[01:19:40] yes

[01:19:42] dude

[01:19:43] no

[01:19:43] yeah

[01:19:44] this year we

[01:19:45] should have a

[01:19:46] side debate

[01:19:47] about this too

[01:19:48] add this to the

[01:19:48] dementor debate

[01:19:49] yeah

[01:19:51] plug the dementor

[01:19:52] debate

[01:19:52] go scroll back

[01:19:53] till you find it

[01:19:54] it's the first

[01:19:55] video

[01:19:55] sneak peek

[01:19:57] um

[01:19:59] this is so

[01:20:00] interesting

[01:20:00] because i have

[01:20:01] like zero

[01:20:01] allegiance to

[01:20:02] this and you're

[01:20:02] very passionate

[01:20:03] about it

[01:20:04] oh yeah

[01:20:04] i'm very passionate

[01:20:05] about hufflepuff

[01:20:05] house

[01:20:05] you don't even

[01:20:06] want to be

[01:20:07] started

[01:20:07] get a badger

[01:20:08] tattoo

[01:20:09] you should

[01:20:10] definitely

[01:20:10] i love a badger

[01:20:11] i just found the

[01:20:12] coolest tattoo

[01:20:13] artist

[01:20:15] ever

[01:20:16] and

[01:20:16] they do

[01:20:17] uh

[01:20:17] like animals

[01:20:19] if you find me

[01:20:19] a cool badger

[01:20:20] i would get a badger

[01:20:21] tattooed

[01:20:22] huh

[01:20:22] i

[01:20:22] they're in

[01:20:23] oregon

[01:20:23] oregon

[01:20:24] oregon

[01:20:24] i texted

[01:20:26] mark

[01:20:27] and i was like

[01:20:28] we might have to

[01:20:28] make a trip out

[01:20:29] to the pnw

[01:20:30] and he was like

[01:20:31] didn't like

[01:20:33] cue lizzie saying

[01:20:34] she only gets

[01:20:35] one tattoo

[01:20:35] oh my god

[01:20:37] call me out

[01:20:38] legitimately

[01:20:39] i'll send it to you

[01:20:40] because i think he

[01:20:41] would like it

[01:20:41] and then if you

[01:20:41] find some cool

[01:20:42] like badger that

[01:20:43] i like

[01:20:43] i will get that

[01:20:44] tattooed

[01:20:44] i'll get it on my

[01:20:45] like

[01:20:45] if we get a

[01:20:46] million streams

[01:20:47] yeah exactly

[01:20:48] if we get

[01:20:49] yeah we'll do

[01:20:50] something we'll do

[01:20:51] some kind of

[01:20:51] competition

[01:20:51] i will not get a

[01:20:52] harry potter

[01:20:53] tattoo

[01:20:54] but to me

[01:20:54] a badger would

[01:20:55] be like cooler

[01:20:56] than like a

[01:20:56] harry potter

[01:20:57] tattoo

[01:20:57] it'd be like

[01:20:57] you know

[01:20:58] half hufflepuff

[01:20:58] house but

[01:20:59] a honey badger

[01:21:00] is legitimately

[01:21:00] like my

[01:21:01] favorite animal

[01:21:02] them and a

[01:21:03] fox they're

[01:21:03] like the two

[01:21:04] greatest animals

[01:21:04] ever

[01:21:05] if i send it

[01:21:06] to the

[01:21:08] uh

[01:21:09] yeah yeah

[01:21:10] i'll find it

[01:21:11] yeah you'll

[01:21:11] open your dms

[01:21:12] yeah i don't

[01:21:13] really ever

[01:21:13] anymore but

[01:21:14] i'll find it

[01:21:15] now

[01:21:15] go check

[01:21:17] it's there

[01:21:19] i would get

[01:21:19] a fish

[01:21:21] tattoo

[01:21:21] she does

[01:21:22] some cool

[01:21:22] i'm sorry

[01:21:23] this is like

[01:21:24] not

[01:21:26] we'll just end

[01:21:27] the podcast and

[01:21:27] talk about fish

[01:21:28] tattoos

[01:21:28] yeah

[01:21:29] anything else

[01:21:30] for uh these

[01:21:31] chapters that you

[01:21:31] want to talk

[01:21:32] about

[01:21:32] i don't know

[01:21:34] we can hit it

[01:21:35] tomorrow if we

[01:21:36] yeah exactly

[01:21:37] do

[01:21:38] we're just gonna

[01:21:38] knock through

[01:21:39] some of these

[01:21:39] tomorrow

[01:21:42] well thanks for

[01:21:42] joining us on a

[01:21:43] journey of harry

[01:21:43] potter and the

[01:21:44] first time readers
